Recently I have taught myself how to translate numbers in Navajo. I only knew 1 through 10 and finally learned how to translate numbers above 10! It took alot of practice and writing my own notes. I share what I have learned in my process. I hope you can learn too!

Great video. I searched for videos on how to pronounce Navajo numbers after watching Rez Ball on Netflix. Your video showing the Navajo spelling with phonetic pronunciation helped so much. One thing I noticed is in djj (4) the d sounds like a d, but in ashdla (5) the d sounds like a g. I can’t tell how to differentiate between when the d sounds like a d or a g. Does this happen in other words? Do other letters sound like totally different letters in other words? I would like to learn more and it would help me to wrap my head around some of the exceptions to learn
