I bought this car seat based on the reviews for my 8 months old and I don’t regret anything about it. Soooo worth the price. I will definitely recommend it
First thing I gotta say is thank you for talking about parents wearing seatbelts. It is so important to model safety, also thanks for talking about why booster is so important. Second thing I wanna say is I love my Nuna Exec and my son loves it too. ❤️
If your 4 year old can still fit rear facing (49.5 inches/50lbs or less) then yes, the exec would be great! You can keep them rear facing until they outgrow it and then turn them forward facing. Your child should be in a five point harness front facing after that until they are 65 lbs for the exec. The Aace booster comes later. Keep in mind that each transition in car seats (rear facing to forward facing; forward facing to booster) is a huge step down in safety!! Do a quick RU-vid search for families that wish they had know to keep their children rear facing or in a 5 point harness longer than they did. It will break your heart.
What are the differences between Nuna Exec and Graci 4Ever Extend2fit? Nuna double the price. I'd like to know why? Is it the overprice due to brand name?
Hi! Love your videos. We bought the Nuna Pipa light because of one of your videos but as u mentioned, our loooong 20 month old seems to be kinda cramped. We’re expecting a baby in March so we wanted to get a new seat for big brother and hand down the pipa… does the exec come with the base? Or is that a separate purchase? Thanks for your time!!
Hi! My son is 4 years old. I’m looking for a new car seat. His Chicco doesn’t adjust anymore for him. He weighs 40 lbs. now. I really want this but wanted some advice.
Yeh, it will. It has a smaller side profile than the Rava. Good luck trying to buy one though; these things have flown off the shelves despite the premium price. We put our order in early for the timber (most popular colour), and had to wait ages for backorders to fill. Nuna have given up selling directly because they are so backlogged to their distributors!
I have a Rava that I currently use for my 4 year old...he is 40 lbs. I know he can get up to 65 lbs in that which is great. I also have a 1 year old. He needs to move out of our infant car seat, and I was going to buy another Rava for him too, but now I am wondering if the Exec is better for my 4 year old and give the Rava to my 1 year old. I'd love your thoughts!
Thats a great idea, definitely offers some more longevity for your family. The other option would be giving the rava to the younger child and buying a Britax Grow With You, which will likely offer more room to grow than the Exec will (wider seat base, less stuffy for older kids and higher weight/height limits). It may seem similar on paper, but having tried kids in these for years, a lot of kids find the the Britax more comfortable at that age.
They are both comfy but for practical and future comfort the Nuna exec is best. My 18 month old absolutely loves it and she sleeps so peacefully on long car rides.
These carseats are SUPER easy to move from one car to another, but they are HEAVY! It only takes me a minute to move ours to another car, but if I was traveling via plane/taxis/ubers there is no way I would want to drag this with me...
The Exec is 18.5" wide. The best first step is always measuring your backseat to give you a better idea of whether it can fit. Cars vary wildly so it can be difficult to say.
It fits great! If the driver or passenger are tall, the CRV may require you to sacrifice some leg room but it won't be because of the Nuna. The Rava is one of the smallest rear facing car seats we sell. And you can adjust the angle of recline (depending on kiddos age) to adjust how comfortably it fits.
in the future could you mention the weight limit and kinda guess what age that would be around? I understand every child is different meaning one child might last longer in it than another but it would be really helpful for yous to estimate the age limit as well. Thank you
I'm sure up to the parents own personal discretion and the child's own development growth wise. I'm 29 yrs old , 5'0" and weigh 97 lbs and I don't think I would need a booster even tho the nuna exec can accomodate up to 120lbs 😅
@@Life_of_us_vlogs neither actually. The nuna wasn't available when we went to compare the two and the Britax didn't feel like it was worth the price tag. We went with the diono 3qxt+. Great car seat so far, we have no complaints.
