Man that is so awesome - so beautiful. I am in a wheelchair & years ago I really tried to master them from a seated position with no back on the chair. I got as good as I could from a seated position but then my shoulders started to hurt so I had to quit. This brings back memories. Thanks for the show. Sincerely, JAMES.
Thank you for the kind message. Even though you have never met me you are "inspired" from my comment. Thank You. You know in life we are just fighting creatures. We fight to stay alive regardless of our circumstances. I pray that you will keep this thought in mind should you find yourself in a bad situation. With Sincerity & Respect. JAMES.
In fact: Everybody who believes that twirling is Nunchaku FIGHTING should strike against a hard target or against Tyres. Then you can start to explore what REALLY is Nuncchaku in a fight.
*I had posted comments criticising the nunchaku performance in the above video. But then I found the following statement from the video uploader: "All the movements in this video are action fantasy, not martial arts that can be used in actual combat." So: there's no problem with that! If you know and recognise the difference between martial arts and fantasy, perfect!*
*Maybe the gentleman who uploaded this video could've pinned the following comment of his or maybe added it to the video description, it would prevent some misunderstandings!* *"All the movements in this video are action fantasy, not martial arts that can be used in actual combat." (Ryoji Okamoto)*
When I saw Bruce Lee use it I was amazed with the ease in which he wield it, then I bought it myself and I kept on hitting my back and my head. It takes a bit of practice I guess
@@rdgnr8 that's how I started.. it's a really good way to feel the pull and direction of moves. I started 2 years ago now I'm a bad ass at double Nunchucks and fire staff..
lee uses the Nunchaku in his movies only for the dramatic effect and bec he said that it is unrealistic to fight with empty hands against multiple or aremd attackers. He never want to use or trains Nunchaku as a weapon and he never "mastered" it. For him it was a nice tool for the screen, not for the street.
master bruce lee is nunchaku useing stayls and methods one of onely master brucelee great and nanchaku brucelee useing very very strong and very powerful useing master brucelee very very intelligent and your nanchaku useing stayl methods and demo super good I am biggest fans of master tiger brucelee super great evergreen amazing legend all brucelee fans thanks and all martial arts thanks
Why is it that you guys always grab the nunchaku so close to the chain and not at the far end that would give you more reach and more speed and impact? - Just like Bruce Lee or Fumio Demura would do it. Ah, wait, I think I know - because your hands are too weak for that. And you have never trained properly for fighting with the nunchaku.
Don't listen to the comments they have no discipline this video is great and it shows that you can fight back unlike others who like to defend there self with the Word of mouth
If you dont know the difference between Nunchaku twirling like a Gymnatsic tool and Nunchaku as a powerful werapon please dont say a word against people who knows about.
I see this was done a long time ago but I would like to talk to you about collaborating on a Nunchaku video. I have been practicing for 45 years and I would like to leave some helpful information to those who wish to master this tool and their selves at the same time.
Nunchucks are used in martial arts and in combats as well. Here is a brief introduction of them along with their history and some information on their popularity in the modern world. www.cutlerywholesaler.com/nunchucks-all-you-need-to-know-about-this-fascinating-weapon
A lot of people hate Nunchaku's and criticise for poor form, and freestylers but I find it an awesome way to relax and I swear it sharpens you mentally (if only fleetingly)
No problem with free style nunchaku and using nunchaku to relax. The problem is when you think / pretend you're doing martial arts (using nunchaku as a weapon) when you're not. Lying to yourself is bad enough, but it's even worse when you pretend to teach nunchaku as a martial art to your students when in fact you're not (either because you're lying to them or you don't know better).
*I gave the video a thumb up because its author knows the difference between "action fantasy" and martial arts and acknowledges that this very skilled performance belongs to the former. No doubt he and his partners could get (or maybe are) very efficient in nunchaku as a weapon given the impressive skill level they display here.*
nice Video... but i can do it faster and know much moore techniks... try to flip under arms to high or between your legs - or backflasch down and bride... or try it with 2
I studied rice beaters . I practiced for years and thought I was good. I found a master that taught me to paint the fence. I was all wrong. Took a year to unlearn and start at the beginning. I'm just a beginner now.
Why am I always advancing 😆 but no problem because I first trained Bo staff soo Hard and learned all the basics and moving up to combos and combinations and now wow I can't believe I can do all those techniques without even thinking what should I do.
Бред полный, этот человек не владеет нанчаками и мастерства у него ноль. Мастер некогда не отводит руку долеко от тела, мастер работает наунчаками только вдоль пояса. Такой мастер как этот себе сам голаву разабьёт .
"All the movements in this video are action fantasy, not martial arts that can be used in actual combat." (Ryoji Okamoto, answering to a comment) Maybe he could've made this clear in a pinned comment or in the video description to prevent misunderstandings...
buena técnica pero al ultimo momento mal porque le falta fuerza de agarre ya que el nunchaku es un arma contundente para dar golpes y si se te escapa de esa manera es mal visto aun asi excelente
