Police have arrested three Opposition National Unity Platform Members of Parliament who were trying to access the besieged party headquarters in Makerere-Kavule. Those arrested are Mityana Municipality MP Francis Zaake, Katikamu South MP Hassan Kirumira, and Bbaale County MP Tebandeke. They were attempting to make their way into the barricaded NUP offices in Makerere-Kavule, Kampala.

If police were concerned about healthy and safety regarding the number of people who would have accessed NUP headquarters today, it would have been prudent for them to let in the leaders and stop the rest. What they showed was not just unprofessional but lack of common sense of the highest order. I feel sorry for the police officers who are parents and their children see them on tv do what they do. Their actions are like of uncivilised human beings yet some are very highly educated.
