ahhhh this is hilarious, I was wanting to get a keyboard for the ipad and ALL the keyboards I looked up you have reviewed them. what is your favourite in the end?
Thank you for this comprehensive review! I thought the price was hefty so I bought it second hand and needed help with the setup (no instructions were included) lol. Very helpful, clean/clear presentation, you just gained a sub💖 I don't notice a lag in typing. For reference, I'm using a mbp 2019.
I just got the ipad mini 6 and this keyboard. I find that there is no lag for me, though when I tried it with a typing speed test on a browser, there was a tiny bit of lag, but it could have been the website? Great video and keyboard shortcuts were super helpful!
If it was already switched on, then probably they shipped something that was already returned, advice to check it properly and most likely inform Amazon about it to get compensation accordingly.
I had the Air60 version of this keyboard, didn't notice any lag but sometimes in bluetooth mode it would go to sleep and wouldn't wake up again forcing me to reboot the device. This happened multiple times on my PC, MacBook Air M2, Steam Deck and iPad Air 4 so I don't think the issue affected any specific device. Ended up returning it for a Logitech MX Keys.
@@MindyC Yes- I too would be anxious to know as I am considering buying one of these, but would be very upset if there is the latency that you describe. I gave up using Microsoft Edge for that very reason. It drove me absolutely crazy.
Ever since I got a new iPad and desk, I've been hyper-focusing on desk setups, and your videos have helped inform how I might want to develop the space! Thank you. Coincidentally, I also ended up with similar accessories and upgrade paths like the Orbitkey desk mat, MOFT iPad case + Magic Keyboard, a Keychron, and now a NuPhy Air75, which I'm enjoying since I'm used to low-profile keyboards. I do agree that the colors and build quality of the NuPhy are captivating, especially with the NuPhy Folio case. I thought I'd use the Air75 more for travel use cases, but I still find myself putting the iPad back into the MOFT case + Magic Keyboard because it's so convenient for working on-the-go... (Trackpad is a plus instead of packing a separate mouse, and the combo has such a small footprint!) Do you have any dream setups for the home and for travel?
thanks for sharing your setup! As for my dream setup at home, my mind is always changing but so far I am ok with my current setup. I do use the iPad with my monitor too. For traveling, I simply take the iPad and the iPad Magic Keyboard 😉
This keyboard is a big “no! for me. Too much form, not enough function. And I want my keyboards to have a track pad because I use them for multiple devices. I don’t like the keyboard, but your reviews are excellent! Thank you!
