Nursing Student! I graduate in April with my BSN, and I loveeeee this video. I would love to see a video of what you eat during a 12 hour shift and how you balance that time in between patients! I just started preceptorship and I'm struggling with how to organize my time to make sure I eat/stay hydrated! XOXO
I’m currently on a waiting list to see if I get back into Nursing studies. I was young and stupid and dropped out of 2 Bachelor Degrees, and a Diploma since 2013. I’m determined to succeed and not drop out this time. Doing my Diploma first to get my Enrolled Nursing (the rank below a Registered Nurse), and then plan to go on from there and get my Bachelor Degree, and specialise in Palliative Care. I want to do In Home, Palliative Care so then I have that little bit of extra time to spend with my patient instead of trying to manage multiple patients at once like in a Hospital... that’s way too much stress for me. That’s probably one thing that contributed to the dropping outs. One placement, I was forced to leave a woman with a unfinished bed bathing and still having fecal matter on her, I wasn’t allowed to speak up and say anything until after the shift was over and we had our debriefing with our placement coordinator. Another time, I discovered that they weren’t doing oral care on a woman who was Palliative, and they weren’t making sure that she ate.. I ended up breaking the rules and risking expulsion and by being alone with her and doing oral care myself unsupervised, and spending the time to sit there and get her to eat and drink every meal because the workers weren’t doing it.
I’m an RN since 1984! Retired now following an injury at work. My youngest daughter finds out in just a few days if she got into the RN program. She’s an OB tech & very ready to get into nursing school! It’s so much fun to talk with her, she shares her excitement & frustrations with me. Watching this gives me ideas for gifts for her! When she gets into the program we are going to celebrate!!
Me remembering nearly all the bags from the jag collection in LYXBAG other apartment on the dimond tray.. I think i watched that video like 40 times. Purse collection goals
Just found your channel, loving it and binging your videos. I’m 33 and have been a nurse for 11 years in the UK I’ve worked in theatre for the most part but moved to critical care in 2017. My bag changes on the daily almost 😂
18 years ago today I graduated from nursing school. I worked for 12 years before an autoimmune disease made it too hard to continue. I've been "retired" for 6 years now and work part time as an administrative assistant for my husband.
Hi! I believe you meant to tag the ECOSUSI Nylon Travel Duffel Bag Carry-on Weekend Overnight Tote Shoulder Handbag Soft Satchel for Women 25L. The one you tagged is slightly different. Thanks for sharing!
Retired level 3 Emergency care assistant/Healthcare assistant stroke unit. I miss working the Emergency department more than the stroke unit. Issues with my back forced me into retirement.
Thanks for all the great tips. So I'll give you one too - Just say mils for millilitres. That's what we all say in Oz and it doesn't feel as clumsy to say as m.l.'s. And I love your pencils, I definitely have to get one or two for myself 😘. 🌼
I am a nurse, but I work 7 hrs a day, from 7 am to 2 pm. I am so happy that I escape shift duty but I still care for patients. I don’t have pens except one and soon I will get rid of it.
I did initially then I kept forgetting to take it out of the car and having to walk back to my car. I’m terribly scatter brained. Idk how I’m still a nurse
I from LYXBAGS bought a Birkin and I went into Louis Vuitton at South Coast Plaza with a friend who wanted to buy a card case and we received great customer service. They offered us water..LOL I would never buy authentic knowing that are just as good.
