I completely understand the feeling. I faced similar experience getting into teaching. Though I later came across more patient people who were really happy to put a newbie through, in the beginning, I almost left because people were behaving as if they were forced to mentor and then turn around to shout and blame you for the slightest things. Kudos for sticking it out. I am also very empathetic towards new comers because I understand it can be a lot to take in when everything is new.

I also encountered a very toxic co-workers not just in the ward, brother they are from hell, their heart is full of hatred... i suggest try your best to endure these toxic people, you are there for salary. Let God take care of those bad co-workers.

Shouting is a cultural flaw here in the UK. They see nothing wrong with having brawls at home at work on the street anywhere. Its something that new migrant workers should be familiarized with before they start working in UK, Gossiping,at the coffee machine at the pub about co workers, tearing co workers down, shouting and belitling co workers makes for very toxic work places in UK. Thats why many prefer to work from home and refuse to go back to the office.
