Nursing definitely is a better fit for someone who wants to pursue other passions in life The physician path is definitely holds the most respect but it’s comes with the sacrifice of time
Everything has got a price and not everyone has the time and money to become a doctor. Being a nurse can be both lucrative and fulfilling, plus you get to enjoy life!
Retired RN after 30 yrs...that forbade my kids to go into nursing... I felt that there was a LOT of disrespect for the profession...fast forward to now... my son graduated earlier this year with his Nursing degree and absolutely loves it!!! As a matter of fact he was the one that sent me this video! God bless!
Well explained, I’m a PCT. I’ve been second guessing nursing for about 3 years, and I’m finally finishing up my pre-nursing classes. People have been telling me “Go be a PA, or an MD” and I told them most of the things you’ve explained in this video.
Yooooo I’m currently a nursing student. I’ll graduate with my BSN in 2 years. I resonated with this video so much. I also feel like nursing is a good path for someone that has other entrepreneurial ambitions. It might be more difficult to pursue other business ventures as a MD since they tend to be so busy. Great vid I’m happy I found your channel
I just commented on your other video but damn Nigerian American too, Same here! Oh yeah im for sure subscribing because you basically lived the same life as me lol
I agree with your perspective. There's a lot of sacrifice in med school both financially and time wise. I want to have a family, experience life, and provide financially sooner ...nursing is just a better fit for that along with the hands on aspect of the profession. I don't think I've heard of an M.D. who goes on the flight for life helicopters (unless its super rare) being on a heli after ICU for a few years sounds super cool someday.
