An important commitment of the Sustainable Management of Amazon Forest Ecosystems project was to promote the establishment of forest nurseries of products that contribute to food security through horticultural production activities, as well as açaí, native cocoa, citrus fruits and others with an impact director in the lives of 340 families, also recovering more than 350 hectares of degraded forest.
This project developed activities in four indigenous territories of the northern Amazon of Bolivia: Chácobo Pacahuara, Tacana - Cavineños, Cavineños de la Amazonia and Multiétnico II, benefiting a total of ninety-eight communities and 2,208 families in 6 years of project life 2018 and 2023.
The project implementation agency was the Plurinational Authority of Mother Earth (APMT) and the Indigenous Central of the Amazon Region of Bolivia (CIRABO) was a strategic partner.
