Hi Guys, -Burp clothes or cloth diapers to use as burp clothes -Tiny socks often babies feet are chilly and the socks work great at keeping his feet inside his outfits. -Rinsing diaper wipes with water for the first few weeks before use helps babies sensitive skin on their bottoms acclimate. -Large water bottle, Drinking alot of water will help your milk come in and drinking it while nursing will help with milk let down. So excited for you both!

It cracks me up. My husband and I are pregnant too, I'm having a baby boy Sept 7th. I have a scheduled c section. This video was definitely helpful bc idk what to pack. Besides clothes for me and my son. :)
First timers are so cute... No one can really tell what you'll want/need, because it's your first experience and they are all unique! By the time you haull all of that stuff in - soon as you have that bundle of joy in your arms and the nurses are in and out - you'll be a lot less occupied with all the mumbo-jumbo you brought and just want to sleep. You likely won't care about the usual things you're picky about. Just remember when it gets overwhelming - look at that little man you have in your arms - and nothing else matters! You are really ready! I have two adult daughters and I can't think of anything you may need. Just remember to take care of yourselves as well. Date nights are so important. You are getting ready to pop really soon. Can't wait to see him!!
Hospital will provide everything you need really I wouldn’t worry about bottles :) fan is a great idea! Recommend bringing your own pillows! And blanket

No their not, Americans are horrible parents .. they really do leave their baby's in a room by themselves despite medical experts stating a baby should be in parents room ( not bed) until at least 12 months old .. it's called being a kangaroo parent, not leaving ur baby in a room by its self with a baby monitor ...

The nursery is beautiful perfect and you packed some amazing stuff that I never even heard of I know he's here already but the only thing missing from the nursery Is the baby monitor. But you guys will be with him at all times and he'll probably sleep with yall majority of the time so it isn't really needed. You did an amazing job for a first time mom. Best advice I ever received after having my 1st baby, overnight Depends. Yes, they're for incontinence, however they're comfortable, if you bleed through, sneeze & pee or just have an accident, they're disposable. Put your frozen pads in them, wear them around the house or to sleep in to help reduce swelling ❤️ You're going to love having a baby. I miss being pregnant & wish every day that my babies were newborns again. I'd give anything to go back and experience it all over. Don't waist a single minute with unimportant things. You'll have everything you'll need.
A big water bottle with an attached straw for ease of drinking...! I used in both my labours, it's thirsty work and the straw makes it much easier to have regular sips xx
Only thing I needed to bring to the hospital was non-slip socks[or slip-on slippers], car seat, and his going home outfit [packed a couple different sizes]. Used our own swaddles at home because the nurses would swaddle him there with their blankets. I used the mittens a few times, but ultimately rarely used. Mostly used the baby file. I know the experience can vary per couple so I've heard that bringing your personal pillow, an extra blanket, and your own nightgown was a big want. Snacks/meals for dad is a good idea because our hospital only covered his 1st meal. He could go to the cafeteria, but not a fan of leaving the area. iPad & 2-3 overnight bag for him was helpful since we had an attached bathroom. Dad didn't have to go home to shower!😁 I wish I could help with milk production tips, but mine never came in😢 So close, and SO excited for you two! Nursery is adorable, and much better organized than I was/am😄🥰
Burp cloths for sure in case he spits up and swaddling blankets. Maybe you had those and I just missed them lol. You all are so cute! I can't wait to see the baby! 💛

Take it if it makes you feel more secure, but you probably won’t use 90% of that stuff. Long charger, comfy clothes for you and baby. They have most things at the hospital. You are going to do great!!!!💖💖💖
Your nursery is so adorable! What a peaceful haven for your baby. I recommend a weighted sleeping mask for the hospital. Had our 1st boy just over 1 year ago; our 2nd boy is due Oct. 7.
Nipple shields saved breastfeeding for my first who had latching problems and was a NICU bub totally recommended the medela ones. He ditched it after 3 months and ended up breastfeeding for 12 months! Just something I wish I knew about before I had my first. Congratulations 💛
Glad to know Regal/Justin is still settling into adulting. I just turned 19 and I have no idea what I’m doing. I still feel like a kid, but it’s nice to know that people who are older than me who are still learning.
I am absolutely in love with the book idea instead of cards. Considering the price of cards nowadays you can some great books that can be enjoyed for years later. So many potential memories
The only thing I can think of for labor may just be chapstick but not sure if that was going to be included in your toiletries. Praying for you two to have a safe and smooth labor, delivery, and transition to parenthood! ♥️♥️♥️
I couldn’t recommend the I can’t recommend the perinial pads enough good thing you got some because the hospital only gives you soo much but done be afraid to ask for them and the mesh undies that they give out too they are the best 👍🏼… good luck on the little Angel coming soon 🥰🥰🥰💙
Hello! I am a doula and here are some things i recommend. Peppermint or ginger hard candies. They help with nausea and energy. Also maybe some lavendar or other calming smells. Yoga ball is helpful but the hospital may provide one. Maybe a book on positioning and massage, and birthing book. I like the Bradley Method and some kind of guided meditation. Not everyone will agree but these are things that helped me with my natural birth and I always have these things in my doula bag. I'm so excited for you guys!!!

Hi there! Very excited for you both! Hate to be a Debbie downer..but you are basically in the hospital 24 hours. Unless you are being induced. So you're clothes are over packed. I gown and 1 go home outfit. I took my own shower towels and my own bath robe. I only have one child and thought ..OmG I have to have that...my daughter is 16 now and trust me...there are things that you won't use keep it basic. Your healthy baby son needs very few things...you, food, shelter, warmth, and of course, love ❤️. Trust me...you got this! God bless !

Xbox is hilarious! My hubs and Dr were talking March Madness Brackets literally as I was ready to push! My hubs brought his laptop and watched movies etc!
After 2 babies my best advice is to pack snacks. Lots of snacks. 😂 (and then your own pillow and blanket. And shampoo. The stuff the hospital gave didn’t make me feel clean) Enjoy welcoming your little one :)
Always fun to see a first time mom and what they bring to the hospital. Might be a good idea to wash your new clothes one time before you wear them since they are brand new with the tags on. Just in case if you need formula to get some by the case if needed since there was such a issue with finding formula. Congratulations! God bless you both and your baby. Mu daughter and her hubby brought a snack bag with snacks and drinks. The room they had had a small fridge in it along with a dad’s bed under the window. Good idea I think so you’re not forever rummaging for change for the machines down the hall.
The baby’s nursery is so beautiful! When I had my fist one I packed a couple of nightgowns and and outfit to come home in! I ended up being there for 2 weeks so I mostly wore hospital gowns !
