In 2015 my mother-in-law was diagnosed with very advanced renal cancer. Our local providers consulted with the specialist at ohsu and they recommended an extremely complicated horrendous surgery to try to remove the cancer. She died 9 days after her diagnosis. Unfortunately, she had to be transported to ohsu, about 250 miles from where we live. She under went a days worth of difficult testing and then deteriorated so much that surgery was off the table. Looking back it would have been kinder of the surgeon to tell my mother-in-law no instead of giving her false hope. She could have spent her last days surrounded by her family and friends. Instead she was hundreds of miles away and became their science experiment.

21:00 "All he wants to do is work on cars...That's the joy in his life." I have a wonderful friend who is very much like that. Not highly educated but extremely intelligent and skilled. He smokes, though not as much as the guy you talked about in your lecture. I'm trying to get him to quit. He's a sweetheart. He's pretty much a loner. He has two friends: his ex-girlfriend and me.

72 years young here! I’m that person that doesn’t go to the doctor. I don’t own one pharmaceutical in my house. After a doctors appointment I’m sure the doctor never wants to see me again if I do go to see him. I share the analogy of if you want to have mature mammogram then you have to have your scrotum done the same way to check for whatever. There’s never a smile on their face after I say that I love you thank you for sharing the truth your truth aline with ❤my truth.

Vinay, the part on advertisement is spot on!! I’m so glad you said it!!!!! For as long as big pharma has that kind of money to spend on ads, the drugs are excessively priced!!

I have developed such a visceral and adverse reaction to the word “game changer” because it has been so overused by the medical and pharmaceutical communities over the last decade and yet very few game changers have been realized. People are still dying from cancer and our treatment always falls back to the 70 year old chemo and radiation. None of these highly touted game changers have made a significant difference. I follow 5 young people on RU-vid through their journeys with cancer and one has died despite every sort of treatment and the other 4 are on their way to dying. It’s a very sobering and depressing realization that in most cancers we are really are no better than we were back in the 70’s when the war on cancer was declared. I sadly feel the field is convoluted, delusional and desperately lost.

There is also consumer-driven demand for therapies that may or may not be appropriate…as well as insistence from patients and families to “try everything”. We need to strengthen our ability to have honest conversations - this kind of info is extremely helpful!

I’m not in the medical profession but I really enjoyed listening to you. I was at my gastro a few months ago. Had my first colonoscopy 4 yrs ago in my late 60’s. Everything was fine. Wants to do another and I remembered your video about no statistical evidence for lowering death rate. So I asked for sigmoidoscopy instead since colon cancer in lower colon and takes about 10 yrs for a polyp to grow into cancer. He thought I was nuts bec why not look at entire colon while in there. How about the associated risks?? Couldn’t convince him. So, I’m not doing it. Finding a new gastro.

Quality of life vs quantity of life. After 20 years as an RN at BCCA, I choose quality. No screening for me. No chemo. No radiation. Ever.

Thank you! For bringing up class and $$, besides everything else that was excellent. Almost ALL these health vids assume big money, whether retreats for debilitating forever depression or whatever else, saunas!, so many things we know would be helpful. Sure, I wish I had access to many of these things - even an exercise bike or something...but all I really need is someone an hour or two a week to be company and help motivate me to get basic things done, since things have become overwhelming. You are so correct.

Great and crazy things you don't do enough of in Oncology: Discuss and implement Hyperthermia, Document more Cannabis Oil Patients and their outcome, implement Cryosurgery for Breast, Pancreatic, Liver, and other cancers, DIET DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE despite me encountering a Oncologist who said otherwise, etc. 40 Years+ behind in treatments shame on the Cancer Establishment it's a pity $$$ is more important than implementing and researching novel therapies. Shouldn't have to Travel to Fuda Cancer Hospital or German Clinics to receive advanced treatments it should be available in the West. End or rant.

Dr. Prasad, could you please do a video on this August 2023 peer-reviewed paper "Class switch towards spike protein-specific IgG4 antibodies after SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccination depends on prior infection history." It discusses the high percentage of IgG4 in those who have received the C-19 "vaccine" compared to the almost undetectable level of IgG4 in those who are unvaccinated & have natural immunity. Thank you!

You're hurting his ego,he believes he's "very smart" like most "progressives". Try asking him why California MANDATED putting covid patients into elderly nursing homes in May of 2020 ? And is that murder? He never left a squiek when that was happening and now he's "angry" about masking lunacy. He'll vote for Newsom for sure.

*this is a warmer lecture. i wonder if it is an RN mindset priming fx?* bet i could get money to claim i proved it is. people have to read a list of nursing related terms, then have someone bump into them in hallway, try and start a fight, & see how mean they are. then one w surgeon terms. all undergrad psy mjrs, no controls. ima have chatGPT write it up now. ill fil in the data later. fine entry. =) _JC

Hey Vinay, Now we know your friend Zdoggy was under the influence of regulatory capture. Would you consider having on Peter McCullough or Robert Malone and finally dispell the myths about these people and there claims ( right or wrong)? Seems like they have been more right than wrong and you have actually moved closer to there positions. I have a great deal of respect for you and consider you an honest broker. It would be a real public service to try and hash out some truth. I'm here to moderate if need be... lol (I'm not qualified really).
