I bought their crocs without holes and they are very comfy. Still wearing the sketchers work shoes for non surgery and they are amazingly comfy! Just wish these could be tried on somewhere

Great video, thanks for taking the time to try out the shoes and putting the video together. I'm a bit of a seasoned user of buying many many trainer/shoe brands. To cut a long story short, I have mild cerebral palsy, so getting the correct trainers and shoes is vital. Like Claire I also spend a lot of time on my feet in a health and safety role, so I've had my fair share of foot pain, doesn't help when you've got talipes eqinovarus (mild club foot) and one leg 25-30mm longer than the other. For me personally, after buying so many pairs of footwear I can recommend 3 brands apart from these excellent shoes that Claire has mentioned which I'm going to buy very soon. I've found wearing Nike Pegasus 37/38 has been my go-to trainer, despite I have to wear a heeled insole on my right foot, these are by far the most comfortable trainers I've ever bought, they ain't cheap, however, I feel I cannot put a price on comfort. The second pair is Hoka Clifton 7 or 8 model, again, these are very comfortable that have a massive foam midsole, I wear these a lot after I finish my work, again not the cheapest but do a cracking job. Lastly but not least are the Hoka Bondi 7, this is very similar to the Clifton model, however, it has a lot more foam in the midsole, which I can wear all day without any problems, I usually wait till they go on sale as they can be around £130 or less, I've tried many pairs of Skechers, personally, for me, the foam in the midsole and the memory foam inside the trainers collapses after a few months and the tread doesn't last long, later found out a lot of Skechers that I bought didn't actually have rubber soles, they were all EVA foam which also forms part of the midsole, so I'd recommend the trainers above as they all have rubber soles. Hope this helps.

I tried the Clarks Un Loop and the Dubarry nurses shoe. I really wanted to like the Clarks but the Dubarry was so much better for my feet. Same price as the Clarks. Glad your recommendation for these too, I'm going to give them a try!

Awesome review! Please could you do an update? What is the condition like now? Also, is the outer material strong/hard, I've heard some people say it's a bit too soft/gets easily pierced.

Hi there. It's good to know that in UK there is such orthopaedic shoes brand. But I guess the design you are wearing it's not for nurses who work at government sector in Malaysia since their working ethic calls for leather slight thicker sole rubbery base classic formal designed shoes. (Oh, I'm not nurse though I do work in government healthcare sector as well and our rules and regulation calling for black leather formal classic designed shoes too) In Malaysia, we have this popular New Zealand brand orthopaedic shoes brand called Medi-feet, and there are some other Malaysian local homegrown brands like Footlink (founded by K. Loganathan, a retired but very experienced shoe maker and his wife is a retired diabetic foot care nurse and now the brand is taken over by his son Uresh Loganathan who is also enthusiastic about footwear so the son resigned from his old cooperation job and continue with the Footlink business) and Medshoe (a bumiputera company). I am trying my first Medi-feet after I had bad right foot arch pain quite some while post-wearing counterfeit Bata =( (I felt cheated by the online seller). I might try on Footlink and Medshoe after my Medi-feet is worn out =) Thanks for sharing anyway =D

Toffeln do make excellent shoes, my daughter-in-law is a student nurse in her 3rd year and wears Shoes For Crews (style Reese, Karina and Everlight) they've been making slip-resistant shoes for nearly 40 years and she loves them....less than £50 too!

Looking for new shoes I have clarks unloop at the minute and after about 6 hours they kill myself feet. Second shift and I can barely stand on them. So looking for some new ones for placement x

I paid £60 ish for my clarks and hate them. My mum gave me black trainers and I've been wearing them 🙈 shoes are so hard to shop for I find. I definitely look into ordering some after maternity leave x
