The Ivorian Office of Parks and Reserves (OIPR), UNACOOPEC-CI and IDH, have joined their effort to protect the Taï National Park through the promotion of sustainable agriculture within its neighbouring communities. The primary objective is to ensure the vitality of the park as a crucial reservoir of biodiversity.
In the initial phase of the project, OIPR has provided training to 30 aspiring entrepreneurs in business development and agroforestry techniques. These individuals have since embarked on establishing their own enterprises, facilitated by financial assistance from UNACOOPEC-CI, marking the commencement of the project's second phase.
Among these entrepreneurs is Mr. Dekri Maxime, whose journey is featured in this video. Through his narrative, he offers insights into the impact of IDH and its partners' support on his business endeavours.
