Hello, It really comes down to ingredients you will be making and how long you want a blender to last. Ninja, Nutribullet, etcetera...manufacture with more plastic and "cheaper" build quality. That doesn't mean they are bad but the motors will burn out and not perform if you are trying to blend hard ingredients like raw vegetables, large batches, milling flour, blending lots of iced drinks, etcetera....There is a reason that Vitamix and Blender dominate the commercial blender market (because they last/work). Many people if they go with Vitamix will use them for many decades but if you aren't going to be using a blender a lot or need it for simpler blending tasks then there isn't a reason to buy a Vitamix. For personal smoothies and small blending tasks I personally use a Nutribullet still.

Dude or Dudett, I thought I was the only person on the planet who thought heating soup in a blender is cosmically stupid. Why would you want that noise for 7 minutes? Give it a blend and put it on the bloody stove, which is quiet and designed to heat stuff, not as a byproduct.

Hello. It really depends on how often you will use a blender. People save a lot of money making more recipes at home with their blender (nut butters, soups, flours, etcetera...) and makes it easier to do certain tasks for cooking like turn cold vegetables into a hot soup. The Vitamix blender and blades will outlast other brands versus having to replace cheap blenders every couple years. Again it really depends on how often you are using a blender and what you are blending. The lowest cost Vitamix is a Explorian for about $270

A lot of people can afford a Vitamix, maybe people you know or don’t but definitely easy especially if saving
