I've done the same approach for years, interesting. Just 2 big meals a day, initially did it just because it's convenient/time efficient and never really changed it haha.

Yeah I find it is the easiest way to eat. It works

I remember Kirill Sarychev stating he eats two times a day as well. I found eating two times a day beneficial for me also, it was less taxing on my body and I felt a lot healthier.

If you keep all the food within a 12 hr window as well its like a very light version on intermittent fasting. I feel far better as well - less insulin spikes and better health long term

@@LairdRoss Hey mate, is it possible if you could do a video on those who want to lower down body fat? I'm kind of confused on how to base out my training and macros whilst cutting? Many thanks!

Yum that food looks great. 2 big meals a day with 2-3 snacks is also what I use to get in 4,000 calories a day

I like this diet. People also don't give enough credit to red meat for its nutrient density. Not a good idea to go cold turkey vegetarian/vegan without considering nutrient intake. How much protein do you reckon you consume on average, per day?
@LairdRoss
@LairdRoss 3 года назад
Red meat is great. I would sit at close to 200 grams a day most of the time. I am 112kg so that is very reasonable and on the lower end when it comes to strength athletes. For me since the volume isn't excessive I found its a good. And yes eliminating red meat isn't wise unless you have a done a full and calculates breakdown of your diet

@@LairdRoss Would you say, for the young guys (early 20s myself) who look up to you that what youve achieved is naturally achievable? Or maybe something like The Barbarian Overlord? Or is that unrealistic 😅 Im not talking about aesthetics (dont rly care about that) but rather about strength
@LairdRoss
@LairdRoss 3 года назад
What the Barbarian Overlord has built is definitely achievable natty and a fair bit more. I got to 100kg in my early 20s and was natty and very strong - 195kg bench in comp and 315kg squat. I stayed natty for ages and the lifts still went up and so did the bodyweight but I can't remember what I got too. Now training natty my lifts still very slow improve, just very slow but I am happy with what I have built
