Since I began using litttllextraa cocooniooon shampoo and hair conditioner, there's been a good reduction in hair fall. My hair feels softer and looks shinier. When I used other shampoos there was more hair fall. Additionally, I now use a scalp massager which I believe is also helping reducing hair fall.
I’ve heard positive reviews about liittlextrra coconnioon shampoo, so after trying various options, I finally gave it a go. It’s been beneficial for my hair fall issue.
Thank you so very much for this honest conversation. I have recently experienced hair loss... and it’s been scary. I was considering a costly laser devise, I so appreciated the integrity, and the candidness exhibited here. I’m am now heading over to your initial conversation regarding androgen hair loss. Thanks again guys! j😊
@@Michelle-fe3vw that’s good to news...could you tell me about your experience. I would love to know any details you would care to share...and especially the name of the device. It would be so helpful. Thanks so much. j
Basically your gut health has lot to do with your hair growth. If your gut is in poor condition it will effect your overall health and that includes hair. If you are not absorbing the nutrients and vitamins in your gut it doesn’t matter what you take. So start with a healthy gut for successful regrowth.
These techniques are done in Osteopathy as well… you can finish with a freezing ice cold towel on your head afterwards or an “ice cap” that you put in your freezer and then put on, it’s usually filled with a gel like substance.
This is such a valuable and genuine conversation, almost like an elegant dance between you two 😂 I see myself watching this multiple times, there is so much information to take in. Thank you so much for sharing this video!
Natalie Axi - how long do you leave the baking soda in your hair before you wash it? Any specific shampoo & conditioner that you also use? Thanks in advance for your reply! ✨💗✨
I also want to thank you so very much for all your help to us. I have realised that my notification wasn't working and I didn't noticed until now, that you have also posted videos about Health & Care. That is absolutely brilliant! *Thank yo so very much Dr Fields.*
So fascinating to hear Rob English explain the science behind hair loss disorders and cut through all the bs. Extraordinary that there's no long term research out there yet, but endless misinformation or unnecessary treatments typically for profit making. It was a great interview but can I suggest maybe staying focused with your guest and not being distracted by an email or text as it comes across as a little discourteous. Just a suggestion :)
I was my moms caretaker until she died last year. Within a few months, I had a bald spot the size of a nickel on top of my head. I lost large clumps every time I washed it. I went out and bought keranique and used it a couple of months and most hair loss stopped. The spot is smaller and I hope I’m past it. I think it was stress and sorrow to be honest.
Rub garlic on it, i know it sounds weird to you and it gonna smell real bad but I swear my cousin experienced the same thing she went to a doctor for almost a year without much result but then she tried garlic and it grows back now there's no more bald spot on her head.
Imm a Master Barber in Georgia....it's in the books how to stimulate the blood in the scalp that grows hair. Hot towels will do this also with massage. There are also electronic stimulating devices that help also. This has been since ancient of days....not new....it's in rhe Barber books!
My experience was that shaving to the skin - using 000 blade on Oster professional clippers - caused what appeared to be double density of individual follicles and normal growth coming in where near baldness was present. TO BE CLEAR one was my niece who had been on scalp electrodes after birth and by age 2 still had a nearly bald crown and ring around the occipital also nearly bald. And working in hair cutting in the 90's I did a LOT of bowl cuts (shaved from nape & ear to occipital area.) For my niece I shaved her whole head about every 2 weeks for 3 or 4 months and then let it grow back in. Her hair grew in uniformly and very thick, which it has remained for about 17 years so far. For the boys and men I shaved virgin hair and had such frequent repeats that I really got to know them. In general side-burn and side scalp hair got thicker both in coarseness and density - to the point that I worried these guys were going to regret the hairstyle as they aged (because the top was SO different) My nephews, who's hair I still do still have the same pattern of density - the sides are about double the top and they have gone to #2-4 tappers into longer tops (your normal 1950-1980 business cut.) However the coarseness of the sides and back have evened back out after years of not shaving. Despite the fact that the longer hair is still cut with the same clippers using a guard.
@@dradamfields idk but I wondered the same. There were a lot of people so I KNOW something was going on. It was also interesting that my nephews hair remained thicker but the texture normalized compared to the top hair over time - once it was allowed to grow out and just be trimmed again. I was worried for about 3 years and now their hair looks and feels exactly the same - except is about twice as thick on the sides as top and they're both in their early 20s.
Hey I rocked the bowl cut for years and now the hair on my sides and back is really thick. But the hair on top is thin and starting to reced. I wondered if I just shaved my whole head a few times when I was young if my hair would be thick all over??
@@w1975b It's possible because I was using electric Oster professional clippers on the basic 000 blade (no guard) on the toddler. And various blades and guards on the boys with bowl cuts. I have always wondered about this.
Very interesting topic. Full of great ideas, since I’m suffering with hair falling for; years now. Thanks for all the good advice and research about hair!
@43 minutes GREAT QUESTION!!! Regarding transplants in the long term etc I had a transplant with scalp reduction about 10 years ago. My hair quality has changed and has gotten a bit more wiry but that is from my mom's genes..But, so far so good! I find that my hair looks far more full when it is cut short.. So, I will begin to incorporate some of the techniques for better scalp circulation to hang on to what I have. But, this is the first I have heard about transplanted hair going away. You guys are doing great work! TY!
My hair just stopped falling out after three years. Potassium deficiency. You need to eat 6 bananas and, or potassium supplements. It is a horrible death. Eyes, dry eyes, heart, teeth, muscles, so much more malfunctions. Brain misfires. Short-term memory.
I bought a laser hair comb from QVC because I was concerned about hair shedding and also my eyebrows. I started playing with the device and used it on painful joints from rheumatoid arthritis. It really calmed down the pain. I googled laser therapy for joint pain and found out that laser is used for therapy for joint pain but the research hasn't been done to prove it. It seems like proving how much pain you feel or don't feel would be difficult.

@@fairchild1737 I am interested to hear that. I am really vexed by the hair loss. At the hair salon, my stylist has remarked over and over that a lot of my hair sheds when she styles my hair. But no thoughts on why. I just got a bulk supplement of potassium citrate. It would be great if that helped. The dry eyes and chapped lips and muscle cramps are a problem for me also. Thank you for sharing this.
I am trying the rice water, also I have read that adding baking soda to the shampoo helps but not sure about that. As for my gray hairs, I love them and earned every last one of them. So be proud of yours Adam!
Those long term hair transplant photos are just as likely to be because the original hair that was in the recipient area continued to thin and fall out after the transplant just as you would expect, not because the transplanted hairs fell out. Especially since people have a tendency to slack off on the pharmaceuticals after the transplant because they don't feel the same urgency they did when they looked bald. I've seen guys where you can tell that all that's left are the thick transplants.
Aren’t any otc micro needling devices still not the best because the angle in which the needles enter the skin, causing longer tears? If you go to a professional, the needles go straight up and down into the skin for a clean puncture.
Hi Avani, I'm old and also had my hair falling out in handfuls every day for months. I found out that many women had that problem after having covid, which I also had. There are a number of sites that talk about it, and say that the hair does grow back. I found taking 1 teaspoon of Gelatine every day (in smoothies, soups, etc), my hair has grown back to the thickness it was before. I hope this helps.
I can already see the LASER study set up... yep. So done with clinical trials. I enjoy transparent research study that shows us CRITICAL THINKING skills.
Dr Fields, would you mind if I start with a questions on behalf of my partner. He has been diagnosed with cervical dystonia with tremors. Doctors here are treating it with Botox injections in neck in every a few months. I promised to my partner I will ask you, whether there is something else you would suggest for him to do to sort it. If there is not much he can do, that is alright too, I just thought to check it with you. *Many thanks for your great work to all of us.*

Nutritional supplements such as magnesium (epsom salt baths, lotion/oil applied topically, or oral dosing with capsules or liquid such as Remag from Dr. Carolyn Dean), vitamin E, B vitamins, etc are required for the body to deal with stress and relax. Also, earthing/grounding is scientifically shown to reduce inflammation. Best thing is it's free. Hardest thing is to do it enough to see big improvements. Grounding mats, sheets, etc are available to allow longer contact.

Centerline about 5" by 11 " top of head is a MINEFIELD. Soaks up DHT like a sponge. My first groups of 1000 grafts lasted 5 - 6 years. I began a series of scalp excisions taking 55 sq in of bald space down to 27 inches. Transplanted 11,000 mini grafts but they lasted 3 years to four years. 12 years ago, after a 3 year regimen of Minoxidil and Finasteride THEN I did 7500 grafts plus about 1500 neck and beard grafts and here we are 12 years later, and I've 90% of what I transplanted left. My solution for me is drug therapy for scalp and body, THEN transplant for best outcome and retainability.
Why not to just block the conversion to DHT? Use flaxseed tea. Pour a cup of hot water over 1 tablespoon of freshly ground flaxseed and let steep for 10 minutes. Drink morning and night 2xd. Lignans in the flaxseed are very effective in blocking DHT.

Typically, ketovore/carnivore helps with hair loss. I know mine became thicker and less likely to fall out when I was consistent with carnivore. I did lose hair about three months after starting keto and fasting. I lost a lot of weight very quickly, and it sped up the normal process of hair shedding. So more hairs were coming out all at once. This can happen with any shock to the body. My hair all grew back; it just took time.
I wonder if anyone has tried Magnesium oil for scalp / hair? And if someone can explain why it stings? (I feel like the explanation that--it stings because one is deficient in magnesium--is a way to sell products rather than a real explanation)
Green leaves are rich in magnesium and a lot of other minerals and vitamins. You can trty to eat lettuce, spinach, kale, parsley leaves, any leaves just to be eatable. Green leaves are = your heaslth = that means you are lucky if you are health and no more eat leaves. Is just my opinion. A 30-50gr of leaves daily is good for you.

No, not doomed. I know nothing but take a good prenatal to restore your vitamins and an amino acid complex. Eat moringa fresh as amino acid complex. As I read your cells need food to fight the c and may just need replenishment and it could be just one nutrient they are lacking. For the prenatal get health food store kind with Brussel sprouts and 20 other ect greens. Hello from DeLand, Florida. I'm sorry to make this remark but you confuse Lady Justice with Lady Liberty, there completely different. I like you postings.
Hmmm. I was able to improve my hair thru heavy metal detox. Juicing wheatgrass, mint parsley and cilantro make a world of difference for their natural chelation ability
Great info. I am a huge fan of what you are doing. Keep up the good work. I have spent a lot of time at Optimum Health Institute in San Diego, CA doing as much as 32oz of wheatgrass/day with wheatgrass colonics. : )
My hair loss I blame on stress. My head was so soar I had to shampoo it in cold water. That was sixty plus years ago! So I started taking large doses of kelp and brewer's yeast and it worked . Now aged eighty-four I am going through the same process and once again it works even the grey hair is changing back to its original colour.
Forget about amino acids???? Try PABA (Para Amino Benzoic Acid) 500 mg. twice a day(1,000 mg.)! Do this for one year and you will definitely notice a difference, for grey hair!!
@@dradamfields PABA used as a 'natural' sunscreen so I could see how it might protect 'hair aging' from Sun damage. I was looking into trying PABA also.

Any nutritional food and supplements cannot stop graying and hair loss or cannot boost your health IF you have no PEACE OF MIND because good health starts from good mental health that will affects your entire whole being.

I found some of my hair that is white at the bottom but turned dark brown (my original hair colour). Why is that? Am I having deficiency in certain vitamins etc. that causes greying since some hairs turned dark again. 🤔
There is some research on it and it looks somewhat promising. Would have been a good question for me to ask Rob. www.nourishdoc.com/health/acupuncture-for-hair-loss-treatment
Great interview! Lots of amazing info. I wonder how much micro biome of each area of the body influences transplants. For some reason hair from the nape transplanted to the front hairline eventually falls out. Does hair transplanted from the front hairline to the nape become stronger and longer? Could local micro biome effect that?
Good question! I think that one would be for Rob English or Kiran Krishnan. Check out this conversation I had with Kiran. He's a microbiologist that formulated the first multi-spore probiotic in the world. He talks a about the skin microbiome. I'll ask him your question on our next interview.
I listened to this because at 59, I just started getting grays at my temples. My cosmetic solution is to buy a multi-shade pallet of brown eye shadow and a medium large cosmetic applicator brush for blush. I then spray hair spray very lightly on the graying area, and apply the brown eye shadow. It works really well right now. I do not want to use poisonous hair dyes. I would like to find a way to maintain my natural hair color for as long as possible.
My stylist uses non chemical hair color. Lasts as long as the chemical colors. Find a stylist that uses chem free, or check online for chem free product if you color your own hair🤗
@@fairenough7984 The only TRUE natural hair coloring that lasts - that I have found - is henna. It colors the hair red. Then you go over the red with Indigo which turns it brown. Only problem is if you try to bleach it to remove the color, it will turn bright aquamarine blue! And if you use fake henna, like Surya Creme (it has chemical solvents in it that ruin your hair over time. Terrible stuff) you CANNOT use bleach or regular box dye or your hair will either melt, or burst into flames. Not even joking. :) But they sell "natural" hair dyes, that have some natural ingredients plus all the usual harmful dyes.
Glad you got the info! If you are interested in hearing a very interesting conversation on the gut & microbiome, check this out Microbiome - Kiran Krishnan & Dr Fields ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I_EWTarnc2A.html
