Thanks for the cool video! One silly question: I got the pedal, but on my small roland cube (15W) and also on my boss katana (50W) the sound is cracking and somehow breaking, as if the signal was far too strong. Also if I turn down all knobs under 25 % on the pedal. So the question: Could it be, I have to turn down the volume-potis on the guitar as well? I have to admit I'm used to let them at 10 all the time, because it was never a problem with other pedals. Or is the pedal broken or something?
Would you tell me what the difference is between Horseman and Tube Man MKII? I'm just a beginner to choose an overdrive pedal, and I've watched the review both of them, but i can't tell what's the difference between Horseman and Tube Man MKII. They sound similar to me
The Nux Tubeman MKII is an overdrive that is equalized to push mid frequencies, inspired on the Ibanez Tube Screamer TS808, and the Nux Horseman is a transparent overdrive (has no equalizing changes), like the Klon Centaur. The Horseman and the Steel Singer, however, have differences even when both are transparent overdrives (is because how harmonics are added).
