In this video, I show you how to update the firmware on the NUX MG-30 multi-effects processor to the newest Version 4 Firmware, which added new amps and new features based on user request. Nux MG-30: amzn.to/3q3nGcm *The update process takes over 20 minutes, so please be patient during the update.
[WARNING] The firmware below is ONLY for the ENGLISH VERSION MG-30. If you are using the MANDARIN VERSION MG-30, updating this may cause malfunction or damage to the machine.

Thank you for the good video. I just bought the MG30. It had the 3.2 version. Following your guidance, i just updated it to the latest version 4. No problem. It also took about 21min. Than you!

Just a tip... after you do this you will have to reset your global settings and adjust the distance and switch pressure of the pedal again.. Happy Updating and reloading all your patches from the folder I hope you saved them in :)

Great info but I thought I'd highlight one critical step BEFORE you do anything - BACKUP. That's right, please backup/export your patches BEFORE you do ANYthing; the manual covers this so, read up before you update something that may fail, and because I believe the firmware deletes everything, or something might fail and delete it anyway...you might end up with nothing to restore. I believe you need to download NuX specific app for this effects processor in order to be able to edit effects in the PC

Backup your profiles first, do update, reset and reload profiles

Good evening...after I updated I realized that the tuner is not working correctly, it doesn't signal when I want to tune half a step lower or in D, it only signals the standard tuning, does anyone know what to do?

It's somewhere in the menu system, if you get to the "info" area you'll be able to see it.

@@alejoaf07 I believe the Chinese version only had Chinese language, while the international version has multiple language options.
