The NUX MG30 is a digital Amp Modeller Hardware Unit and the bigger "brother" of the already highly acclaimed and praised NUX MG300. But if you think it sounds close to identical to the MG300 therefore, than you are totally wrong! Does it sound better? Maybe, maybe not. Like so many things this comes down to personal taste. Does it sound great? It surely does! But like always i will not do a Conclusion but leave it up to you to decide wether it may be for you or it isn't.
What is the main difference? Besides more physical Outputs and more Switches (it even comes with a separate Double Footswitch Pedal) is the integrated Power Amp simulation and the ability to store up to 20 Cabinet Impulse Responses right into the Unit. Oh, and it comes with some build in Drum Grooves to Jam with and a Looper.
And as with the MG300 the Software: this is the BEST ever GUI on a Modelling Software i've ever seen. Its just like playing around with the "real thing", you can directly imagine facing that Half Stack or that famous Stomp Box Effects, simply STUNNING and really FUN to use!
