Nuzlocke BUT my friends control my Pokémon and WE HAVE A BABY (Friendlocke Violet) [Part 5]

Fun fact: did you know? The egg plotline canonically took A MONTH. A whole. ass. MONTH. So for a whole ass month we endlessly debated what the egg was gonna be, and oh boy did it get 10 minutes unedited of screentime.

For anyone wondering about the whole egg thing, the reasoning for Salty changing out what was in the egg was two things: 1) They wanted to avoid any problematic implications if it turned out to be the baby form of any of the canonically young characters. 2) It's funny.

Phil's presence really was a gamechanger for the streams. I'm so glad we got such a major cornerstone of the friendlocke crew under such weird circumstances, this late in the game. Can't wait to see more amazing Phil moments!

I love the implication that Cookie's species just abruptly go from toddler to old man.

Braidy really came around to pull the team to many victories. He wouldn’t need to if it weren’t for Gerber, but hey; it all worked out once they stopped letting Gerber cook.

I like how they were so scared to go into the fighting Star Base and then Braidy proceeded to Bulk Up like 16 times and then drag the entire team through the fucking mud.

I loved the part where lark popped out the egg and yelled his signature hit catchphrase “WOW! This sure is a Pokémon violet friendlocke part 5!” And pompadoured all over everybody, such great storytelling from the master storyteller that is saltydkdan- I MEAN PEPPY-

It brings me so much joy that I'm not the only one that thought Phil would be ran over by a car after being released.

Oh wow. I was fully prepared for something really bad to happen. I didn't expect everything to actually go completely fine. And it's all thanks to Phil! So glad he's going to be a permanent member of the party now, they make a great addition to the team.

Honestly, I had been dreading when the gang got to the fighting Star base for fear of what would happen, but it was such a sigh of relief to see Braidy absolutely wreck Eri. When I fought her, that fight gave me hell no matter what I did until the Starmobile threw out of pity on my 11th attempt. Also, Da Chef’s voice over that Tom & Jerry movie clip in the corner at 33:32 killed me😂

can't believe phil hatched from the egg and will serve a very important purpose in the plot from this point forward!

22:22 *_An anime reimagining of the Brady Erina fight:_* After gulping a spoonful of Poké™ brand protein powder at the start of the fight and absolutely destroying a Croagunk's mental state, Brady decided that bulking up mid-battle was the best course of action to beat Erina's team. The poor Passimian can only watch hopelessly as the raging bull casually chugged an entire barrel of pre-workout that was handed to him by a sentient olive tree from the backlines. The bull continued ro chug and chug, completely ignoring any and all attempts the pathetic monkey tried to deal damage to him. Only stopping occasionally to get a little spray of potion from the quirked up green boy that is his trainer. After the barrel was completely empty, the Passimian received what can only be described as a severe mental hemorrhage as a result of the zen headbutt Brady gave. Next was an Annihilape, who tried to engage in close combat with the beast. Nothing Brady can't handle, although a small sparkly bead did form in the edges of Brady's eyes as he reminisces of a better time even if for a slight moment before he charged into the primate, ending it's life. After that, Erina gave way to her Lucario. Who unlike the Annihilape before him, unleashed a powerful aura sphere that very closely knocked out Brady if not for the 10grams pure caffeine and protein surging through his body right now. The Lucario hits hard but he never stood a chance against Brady. With all her Pokemons defeated, Erina charged up her pimped up semitruck to bash into the raging bull until it stops moving. Wounded from the Lucario, Brady used his turn to get some heals in as the truck grinds it's gears, preparing for a devastating attack. Brady however only smiles smugly at this pathetic attempt to match his power. The truck barrelled into him with all it's might, only dealing a percentile of damage to the angry buffalo. Although, the static electricity generated by the move has already transferred into Brady, giving him temporary paralysis. Unfazed, Brady proceeded to give the truck a taste of it's own medicine. A zen headbutt so intense that it left the truck barely clinging in the red, black smoke pouring out of it's engines. Brady, filled with an incredibly unhealthy amount caffeine and unbearable rage, shook off the paralytic electricity coursing through his body and gave the walking scrap heap one last zen headbutt as it tries to greedily set-up it's next move. And so, Erina and her base was put out of commission once and for all. In the distance, as the Peppy Party cheers for Brady, a lone silhouette can be seen. A purple primate, tilting his shiny scarlet-orange glasses in respect before vanishing into thin air as if he was never there. The lone Paldean wind carries it's remaining whispers into the night, a faint *_"MIKEY DEEZ, BABY!"_* can be heard around the now defunct starbase as the team moves on to greater tasks and greener pastures.

I checked out of curiosity by the way and I would like to note that if Phil had not appeared instead, all the pokemon in Dan's party but the Belibolt were in the Field Egg group. It could have been quite literally anyone who fucked in that camp. Including Gerbicyle. I didn't even know a Cyclizar could have kids I would have assumed it would be in the Unknown Egg Group
