There's been proper RT doom for ages, we're talking in engine implementation and not external hacks. (prboom-plus-rt) RTX remix wouldn't work for doom as it isn't dx8
I know this isn't exactly the same but you can get close to what you are asking here with Tale Of Two Wastelands + Texture Mods + New Vegas Reloaded. I do this with Nexus Mod's "Collections" feature and I am always blown away with what the modding community is capable of.
Not gonna happen...., that's what runs the company... and can't blaim them for that cuz atleast they are not forcing crappy software/product on everyone like MS does with windows
Im assuming you have an AMD or Intel card trying to use CUDA. From what I understand Zluda or ROCm should be the adapters/plugins for AMD and Intel cards regarding CUDA but might need to double check that.
But of course they don't open source their drivers because you know working with the FSF in gnu to like get working. Performant drivers for Linux is just out of the question for some reason...
