NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin: Next-level AI Performance for Next-Gen Robotics 

I wish the robot walked a little faster. Its obvious from the video that the person had to be walking slower than his natural speed because the robot was moving slowly. The designer of the demo probably chose to power down the motor just to reduce the amount of battery to be carried or the recharge frequency. Compromising the speed of the robot on that basis was probably not a good design choice. In fact there is enough processing power available on that Jetson Orin AGX box to intelligently discover the person's natural pace and move the motor at that pace. A combination of measuring the posture of the walk and the distance the person maintains from the robot would have got a good estimate of his preferred walking pace via image analysis. Probably the team working on this demo robot was capable of making these improvements but were not given enough budget and time to get the demo robot ready :)

You can also use it not just for mobile robots, but also stationary AI to help monitor safety in and around All Industries, making quality of life Just Plain Simpler and Easier for Everyone

Cant wait to see it in a Nintendo console.

Not easy to buy, not to mention the high price for a developer kit. The production version is another story. This has to change.

All of those specific demos mentioned in the video can be perfectly achieved using far less computational power. How in the world could nvidia even come up with such video to advertise this 275T edge device...

Developer kit costs 1999$, is there any rationale for this price? We should pay Raspberry pi to slap some GPU on Rpi for 1/8 cost.

Nvidia should make a VR headset themselves using Jetson type computer attached to your belt. Already seeing the designs similar to this that use your phone, like what Qualcomm has been doing. How about a real kick ass one with nvidia GPU instead of phone gpu.

Wow, after pouring so much effort from NVIDIA into ISAAC SDK development , this particular self driving robot uses ROS 2 ? Why ? Does it mean ISAAC is dead ?

The product is ok, but ! The price is not considerate. There are other edge devices in the market that people can afford & achieve the same results.... Reduce the price if you want people to admire & appreciate the cost....
