Nvidia Quadro 2000: $20 Prebuilt-friendly Graphics Card 

A few more tidbits of info that didn't make it into the video: 0. I forgot to include this at the end, but a HUGE thank you goes out to u/jordepic on Reddit for alerting me to the HD 8570's existence. 1. The idle clock bug happens at stock clocks as well. You can fix that by flashing a new clock table, but at that point you might as well drop 391.35 and stick with 377.83. 2. Regarding the bit at the end about "motherboard with issues with HD5000+/GF600+", I'm referring to boards that have trouble with PCIe 2.1/3.0 cards. The board shown has a VIA PT894 chipset; I've never tested one personally but others have experienced POST failure when using PCIe 3.0 cards on their PT880 boards. YMMV 3. I had a look at the model number for the GDDR5 modules, they're K4G10325FG-HC04. Those are rated for 5Gbps. That means at stock the VRAM is running at barely over half its rated speed. I'm probably being held back by the memory controller on the GPU itself; when I'm not overclocking the core I can max the memory slider in Afterburner but I have to dial back the memory clocks a bit when I overclock both. 4. Gears of War 4 also supports cards with Tier 1 resource binding, so I could've tested that as well. Not like there would've been any point, Halo 5 was bad enough. 5. The October patch for Quake Champions pushed up the oldest "approved" Nvidia driver to >399.24, so it'll complain every time you try to play on a Fermi card. It's only downhill from here :(

Great video (and guide). This is what I did to my (same shape cooler) Quadro 2000 a while back. I also modded the BIOS and went a bit further adding UEFI support (just in case I want to use with systems that need that). I do same with almost all my older GPUs. Watched a few other of your vids and subbed. Would be rude NOT to! (EDIT: Also I got 780/1900 clocks baked into BIOS with Quadro voltages and power budget not GTS450 ones and see a 30% boost in performance over stock Quadro)

I have one of these(different style cooler) in my ghetto cardboard box Dell Optiplex 780 motherboard build with a Q6600 (tape modded to 3.0GHz) and an Optiplex 3010 psu from a computer like the one in the video. Thanks for doing this video, as no one else bench marked it.

I'm still using Quadro 2000 in 2022 but back then in 2020 i struggle with the idle state, My Quadro ran at idle speed after i played a games for quite sometime i dunno why and i fixed it by restarting my PC but after few months the idle state gone and again i dunno why xD so it's better now. One more thing that i use Quadro 2000 for gaming, so many newly AAA Games i had played with this GPU and here i'll write the list of the game that i played with: *i write the most fps that i got. -RE 2 Remake: 80% Scale, Lowest, 720p, 27fps. -RE 3 Remake: Same as RE 2 Remake. -Watchdogs: Lowest, FXAA, 720p, 27fps. -Plague Tale: Lowest, 70/80% Scale, 720p, 25fps. -GTA V: All Normal, 720/768p, above 30fps. -The Sims 4: I forgot the graphics settings but its low to high (i mixed it), above 30fps. -The Evil Within: I dunno why but i got the worst fps ever like 7fps to 15fps even with 360p resolution. etcetera. damn my fingers are sore, sorry. My conclusions that you can play all games if it's minimal requirements below GTX 750ti or GTX660 and all the 2GB vram graphics card. *Sorry for my bad english and poor choices of word.

hi i tried your modbios but it didnt work ( black screen ) i write it directly on the chip using EEPROM BIOS USB Programmer CH341A ( works really good for gpu bios ) but that bios do not work for me and i have the same exact card you are using in the video anyway thanks a lot for the good video

Well, I'm better using 377.83 quadro drivers, I don't want to use the GTS drivers again because it gives me troubles of stability and DX12 support is shit, but I want to know how you make the bios custom clocks you made. I use OC @770mhz and it works fine but yours looks quite better.
