Great video and very informative. Can’t wait to get our CHX65 in to test ourselves.

Carlos explain the difference in sound if any on 2ohm vs. 4ohm speakers and woofers as well. Thanks
@NVSAUDIO
@NVSAUDIO 7 месяцев назад
2 ohm just makes the amp put out more power on that channel Most people run out and get the 2 ohm because it’s “louder” I like The fact that they come in 2 and 4 ohm for the install flexibility. For example the ch are much louder than the chx but the chx have more mid bass and require more power . so I’m doing a bike right now on a 1200.4 4 ohm I did the ch in the faring in 4 ohm so they gat 197 watts each and I did the chx in the lids in 2 ohms so they get 300 watts each . The extra power to the rears will make them play even with the front in loudness . I get the weather proofing in need in the lids and more power to overcome the fact that there are less sensitive than the fronts . Win win 🥇

@@NVSAUDIOhi Carlos, question.. did you run this setup from start or is it cause the customer already currently owned the ch65.2’s ..? I ask cause curious if that’s what you recommend best for a solid balanced sound running 2 different cicadas this way in a 4 spkr setup? Because I’m looking to run a 4 spkr cicada setup in my SG as well. Thanks 🙏

What are you thoughts on them vs the Euphoria EX6NCD-CF as far as sound wise at 350-400 watts each (for close same to same retail)?
@NVSAUDIO
@NVSAUDIO 7 месяцев назад
They’re both handle big power and now cost about the same since euphoria lowered their price . But they sound completely different A advantage that the cicada has is it is available in 2 and 4 ohm The euphoria had been around for years and shops already know how to tune them to make them sound great . The euphoria tweeter is louder because it has no water protection. It’s too completely different speakers you would have to listen to both to make your decision

Excellent video. I have an unrelated question I added NEOMS8's to my extended bags with 6x9's in the lids. Should I get rid of the lid speakers and just run the 8's

Carlos I have the GZCF 69SPL & GZCF 6.5SPL on 2 EVOPS 800.4 4Ω, both are bridged with a S8 DSP. I have been waiting for these to drop to do the swap out to the cicada chx set up. My question is will i have to purchase new amps or just purchase them in 2Ω version. Also should I separate the woofer from the horn. Appreciate your feed back.
