Greenbean you are easily the most knowledgeable Jet utuber. The team lacks chemistry on offense and special teams. Big reason Vegas has them at 9.5 and barely making a wildcard. I want a 7 year run with our players, not a one year run at trying to make the playoffs.

This is the best chemistry we have had on offense in a decade, bringing back #1&2 option in breece and Garrett, avt and tipman in the middle, even Lazard being there stabilizes that side. Both of our kickers are back, yeah we lost Hardee but brought back Ashton. We are gonna be fine

GW, Hall, Tippman , Conklin are the only starters who played more than 9 games last year. They have zero chemistry on offense. @taylorsterling9932

In 2010, the Jets were attempting to sweep the Patriots in Foxborough, and when they announced that Jim Leonard was going to be out for the game, I was like "well, there goes the sweep". He was THAT important. Not Revis level, but a ball hawker, and solid tackler and the defensive play caller. Oh, for the sake of accuracy, you're better off comparing Calvin Pace to Hassan Reddick, since Pace was the default pass rusher of the linebacker corps. I give LT the slight nod because he was a leader on the offense.

the jets said we had he best roster and team in football last year, super bowl bound and the only highlight we had was Rodgers running out of the tunnel with the flag. im waiting for the final product to see what we have and then if they can win some games. they look good on paper. lets see how they play on the field when the games count. Can they handle the pressure they are putting on themselves.

2010 had a better defense, but you really can't put a team with Mark Sanchez at QB on the list of "stacked Jets teams". An anecdote, and a statistic. First, the anecdote: in "can't wait!" bowl, and halftime, the Jets were down 21 points. My dad asked me if the Jets could come back, and I said "absolutely not: their offense isn't capable of scoring 21 points in a half." The defense played flawlessly, and didn't allow a single first down until the last minute or so of the half, but the Jets COULD NOT SCORE 21 points in a half. Compare that with post-achilles Testaverde -- who was never the same, but still managed the Monday Night Miracle, scoring 30 points in the fourth quarter. Another fact about Mark Sanchez: not once in his entire career did he throw for 170 yards in a game without also throwing an interception. Not in his career. The 98 Jets could have come back against the Steelers, but the 2010 Jets? Never. Oh, for history's sake, the late 90's Jets had Aaron Glenn, who was the first of the long-term elite corners (we'd had good ones before, like Erik Macmillan, but we always ended up trading them), which is basically the team's identity: when we're good, we have a lights out secondary.

If we have to play 3 games in 11 days I would rather do it in the first 3 weeks then the middle/late season the we are beat up.[ We can make a statement this year.

No way that the 2010 roster was better than the 1998 roster. Testaverde was much better than Sanchez. Keyshawn, Chrebet, and Dedric Ward were better than Edwards, Holmes, and Cotchery. Martin in ‘ 98 was better than Tomlinson in 2010. Defenses were comparable. Parcells was better than Rex.

This is our year is what cowboys fans preach every Year. But we have a legitimate claim to it. Amazing offensive line. Stacked defensive line. Prolly the best cornerbacks in the entire NFL. A potential badass rb1 and Garret Wilson who's begging to shine. We have the easiest schedule in our division which gives us great odds to win the east with 10+ wins. I have no shame in saying we are playing Kc in AFC championship game.

Again, it's always hard to compare teams from different eras, even if it is only 14 years. Wish you would perform this exercise with the 69 Jets because at the time the NFL was a running league and the Jets passing stats were out of the norm.

Definitely the best roster since 1998. But being a Jet fan is all about waiting for the shoe to drop. In 98, during the offseason, I thought the Jets had it in the bag, and then the franchise ruptures his achilles in the first quarter of game 1.

i knew thomas jones, he hated to leave the jets, he also told me shonn greene could of been great but he didnt work hard, he was last person to get there and first person to leave, jones used to get to practice 3 hours before it began to watch film and stayed 3 hours after to watch more film, he is a super nicee guy, he came into my restaurant and he would be on the phone and if a kid recognized him he would stop his phone call to take a picture, first time i met him i pulled up one of his highlights of a long td run and walked over and played it and i would say look at hime go, he could go all the way... he laughed

You talk about the “curse” so much, it’s as if you enjoy having that image, as a “cursed franchise.” Then, you’re complaining about having “too many prime time games!” If I’m not mistaken, not too long ago, we were screaming how disrespectful it was to be “stuck” in the 1pm Sunday time slot and never getting g the glory of prime time. I swear if I wasn’t a Jets fan, I’d probably hate us too! Also, Season ticket holders are always complaining as if THEY are the only fans that matter, what about the fans that are blessed to have the chance to go to a prime time game because there are so many to choose from and their work schedule won’t hinder them the entire season. What about the ones who pay for these expensive cable packages, doesn’t their $$ count, or the over seas fanbase. There are plenty of fans who are happy about the schedule because they get a chance to experience the team in a way ONLY season ticket holders were able to in the past. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

What I do believe in is the power of hundreds of thousands of minds collectively pooling their mental energy into negative narratives that manifest into varying degrees of misfortune for a franchise whose earliest fans are so traumatized they would rather hold onto an image of being the victims of some morbid curse, than to let go of it and embrace the image of a franchise that overcomes adversity to eventually become CHAMPIONS! Now out that on your sandwich, and spread it, SKIPPY!
