Watch the Nyangumarta Rangers in action as they setup Felixer grooming traps to control feral cat populations near Black-footed Rock-wallaby habitat.
The Nyangumarta Rangers have contributed to the rediscovery of the threatened Black-footed Rock-wallaby as part of their work on country and continue to learn about their distribution.
The rangers created this film to practice their storytelling skills and to share their knowledge.
Thank you to the Indigenous Desert Alliance and Lotterywest for supporting this Ranger Development Program storytelling initiative.
The Nyangumarta Rangers acknowledge the funding support from the
National Indigenous Australians Agency and the Indigenous Protected Areas program.
