See this is not a secret but knowledge. The middle Eastern and Asian nations use the moon to tell seasons, so in Hebrew Nissan is the 1st month which falls exactly between March & April and the month ending in Adar which falls between Feb & MAr. The Westerners used the sun to tell the seasons from the Greeks to the Romans which has caused this difference. So what he is sayiing is true but to expand upon.
