Nyarlathotep craves pure chaos, sows discord and fear, and driving mortals to madness , So basically he's Lovecraftian Joker

Nyarlathotep is pure, unchecked Anima. He offers base pleasure in exchange for base terror. He doesn't have the apathetic indifference of the other entities. He instead acts in a very personal way. He cares. He doesn't obliviously crush you underfoot as the others would. He doesn't scoop up dozens of nameless people at a time to devour. No, he instead slips in through the cracks, finds a corner of your mind. He merely informs you that he knows the way to madness. But he suggests you're nowhere near ready. Over time he inspires profound ideas. He even stays quiet a lot of the time and when he does speak, he sounds as though he could be 2 or 3 miles away. It's faint, but is heard clearly. He's chipping away at the foundations of your mind. Your sanity. Fractures in small, out of the way corners and seams. You could only see them if you were looking very carefully. So that when you do break, voluntarily or not, your mind will collapse like a controlled demolition. He reminds you that he knows the way on the path to madness. For aome reason he sounds much much closer. You're beginning to wonder if falling into madness wouldl be like diving into the cool water of a pool on a warm sumner night. Anything to get him to stop talking so loudly. He sounds like he's sitting right next to me, his booming voice threatening to burst my ears open. You wonder how long of a ride it is. Should you pack food? Bring a book or a pillow? If he gets any closer or louder, the chaos will consume me. Suddenly he opens a doorway inside your mind, vague memories of him .. or someone .. cutting over there. You can feel a nice cool breeze coming from the other side of the door. How are you just noticing how stifling it is,? Each breath, a hot, humid wave. If you could only get to the door. Nyarlothotep has shown you the way to salvation. Freedom from the bonds of sanity. Free from reality's tedious anchor on your mind. His whisper in your ear makes you realize he was there all along. As your sanity and very identity begin melting. Cackling loudly you step over the threshold... And fall. It's so hot here. Is the last thought your human brain can muster before you hit the water.

I tell ya this guy is a top tier menace. It’s not that humans woke him up from an eternal slumber or undid some magical seal HE JUST DOES WHAT HE DOES BECAUSE HE CAN AND GETS OFF OF THAT

Lovecrafts story of such actually gave me chills! and made me feel uneasy and anxious no bull!? ... The talk of social upheaval and times of guilt and profound terror! And the way we blindly bow n follow nyarlathotep.. In awe of his dark miracles and abhorrent revelations and horrifying knowledge! Almost antichrist like but worse!.... After covid 19 and what it did to the world without accountability or any true answer to its origin I believe we now live in a time when anything can happen quite literally! Times of social unease and confusion... What next I wonder...plus In the stories by lovecraft and such I like the fact he has many faces and avatars...

Some minor things that maybe/maybe don’t contradict lore: Nyarlathotep serves no one. He does his “father”’s biddings as an apparent tongue in cheek joke. Or maybe not. Also, he plays the flute to keep Azathoth asleep. Or maybe not. You just should have focused more on the “we don’t know what the **** he means/does…he’s literal chaos.” A bit more 🙂🙃
