The rental market in New York City is so expensive, compared to pre-covid. This is partially caused by legal court system. Landlord cannot evict and the risk of renting to a bad tenant can mean 1 full year of uncollectible rent and a trashed apartment. The rent is killing average person due to some bad tenants who is playing the system. I have 2 tenants who didn't pay for over 1 year and cannot evict. To recover the lost, the rent will shoot up. The Tenant-Landlord court needs to process the eviction so more unit can come into the market. Come to Jersey City if Manhattan/Brooklyn is too expensive.
You have such a logical mind, you made this very interesting. I'm very sorry for the craziness going on all over now. I truly hope it doesn't come in contact with you guys.
@@danielma-realestatevaluema7975 how can u say 92nd st is so far uptown? Definitely disagree… life is beyond the East/West Village, LES, Chelsea… u shouldn’t discourage viewers looking for apts. I lived all over NYC & ended in Harlem. Worked downtown & loved escaping the mess below
Totally agree. I lived in Morningside Heights near Columbia University. They have more buildings there with elevator and laundry in the basement at a more affordable price point. I love the beautiful Old World buildings built in the 1920’s.
