On November 19, 2023, I was with my mom at W 42 St & 1 Av waiting for a 2019 XD40, as #7614 on the M42 Westbound, I saw one of these on the M15-SBS Northbound.
I rode two MCH Buses on May 1, 2021, because I also rode #3831 on the M7 from Av of the Americas & W 34 St to Av of the Americas & W 57 St, with Vianova Screens and the exterior destination sign announcement. That was my last Orion bus ride ever.
On May 1, 2019, remember riding #6142 on the M15-SBS with my dad from 2 Av & E 57 St to Pearl St & Fulton St, and the ride was long! I saw an origional LFSA from Tuskegee Airmen at the same stop of E 57 St.
Happy blessed birthday first and foremost and also thanks for this I miss riding my favorite buses the XD,XN,and xe40/60’s can’t wait til this quarantine over so I can ride em again 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Hey Cedric, Great Review, I‘m Glad You Got 400 Subs When You Turned 17, So I Just Wanted To Say Happy Birthday, I Hope You Do Well For Yourself For The Future & Enjoy Your Birthday Man
King Auto & Xcelsior Dispatcher Yeah, I Supported You Along The Way & We Talked About Mostly Everything When We Met Each Other At The Bus Fest & The Parade Of Trains So I Think You Are A Nice Guy To Hang Out With, So I Hope I Hang Out With You Again Soon
I had caught 6200 on the Q-60 During the Subways closer. That was a treat for myself coming from work. During my security detail! In Queens From Elmhurst to Queens Boro plaza!!! And there are great on Q-53 !!!
10:10 the same applies to the 2017-19 LFSAs 5443-5562, and 5579-5602. These are featured on mostly the Manhattan and Bronx SBS routes, to push their old ones off SBS duty. This made me wonder why an SBS route needs a lot of buses. 10:23 the same applies to the 2016 and 2019 LFSAs 5439-42, and 5563-78, which are still seen in the local wrap today. Only out of GH/KB Depots. No MJQ Depot LFSAs have the local wraps. Similarly, no Brooklyn 2019 XD60s with the local wraps.
These buses remind me of the 2020-21 New Flyer XD60s of NJ Transit, except there are no middle doors, and the rear doors are inward, and operated by the bus operator.
I couldn’t even believe what happened two months ago. The 5 units transfered to LaGuardia? Why? LaGuardia shouldn’t be transferred any buses. However, they can still receive their own new buses. 😮
11:03 If you own a car and you block the bus lanes, you will be fined and may result in a ticket. This should soon be featured on the LFSAs out of GH Depot on the Bx12 and Bx41 SBS, MJQ Depot on all of its Crosstown routes, and MCH Depot on the M60 SBS. The same should go to the 2020 XD60s out of JFK and LGA Depots. ENY Depot should get these along with the 2025s for the preparation of the B82 SBS becoming artics, and should feature ABLE cameras to act like the M14-SBS, M15-SBS, B44-SBS, and B46-SBS. CS Depot’s XD60s should feature the ABLE cameras for the Q44-SBS, and this should also be featured on the XN60s out of WF Depot on the Bx6 SBS. I hope all SBS routes feature these.
XD60s are diesels, based on the "D" in its initials. Also, the full rooflibe only belongs to the hybrid version of XD60s such as XDE60s. The "DE" means diesel and electric, which combines as a hybrid. Plus, the XN60s are Compress Natural Gas that has tanks which makes it a full roofline too. And the "N" os the clue for this source.
@@AutomotiveTaurus i say that cause NJ Transit has these from the same age with the full roofline, Pace buses 2020 XD40s and the brand new XD40s in NYC have full rooflines too. Speaking of rooflines, when will u do the 2021-2022 XD40 review?
