NYC Doubles It’s Migrants… And Blames Texas 

Imagine trying to enforce a “border” for your city but not caring about the countries border.

This isn't a NYC -Texas problem. This is a United States problem. The Federal Government is to blame.

How anyone can blame the Texas governor is mindblowing. He has fought to close the borders. The politicians in NY who are experts at virtue signalling fought to keep the borders an open free for all. Why should texas have to foot the bill. Im a NYer who did not vote for any of this but my neighbors did. Maybe all the virtue signalling people of this country should think really hard about their decision and maybe join the fight to close the border.

You know I am 73 worked all my life and I am trying to get energy assistance in NJ and I have to give them pages of documents on my income. It is a big process and the people come here free and clear get whatever they need without working here or filing documents. This is disgusting. People born and raised here worked all they life paid taxes and these people are reaping all the rewards.

Eric Adams is the worst sort of hypocrite, as he’s the one who pleaded for them to come to NYC.

So let me get this straight... regulating the U.S. border = bad, but regulating NYC border =good? Your math doesn't math, Mr. Mayor.

As a Texas resident this is excellent, I get tired that sanctuary cities that live nowhere near the border refuse to close the border. You want the border open, you can have them.

All this is doing is sharing the pain. Blue cities have been advocating for open borders for a long time without ever having to deal with the consequences. It's about time that they got a taste of the results of the policies that they demand.

The reason the Texas governor is sending illegal immigrants to New York City and Chicago and San Francisco is because of their "Sanctuary City" policy. That's well and good until they have to deal with those immigrants. Maybe if they took the border crisis seriously this would stop. Texas is just sharing the love!

They should send them to the White House and vice president.

As a Texan, this is amazing how so many people were against building a wall or wanted Texas to let people in, but when they come too close to their homes now it matters. Texas has had to deal with this National issue for too long. This has pulled on the educational system and resources for too long and is robbing our communities.😮😢😮

Imagine that...a SANCTUARY city now complaining about being used as a SANCTUARY city! Why are they not screaming about the current admin's policies? Yes, Chicago, AZ & NYC are complaining but avoid calling out the reason for this insanity : /

Everyone wants to support immigration until they have to deal with the effects. I fully support Texas spreading the burden of these illegal immigrants around, especially to the cities of those that voted for the open borders touted by this administration.

As one of the millions of long suffering people in the SW who got called a racist anytime we had a single complaint about this... I find all of this hilarious. We've taken in millions for decades, and these hypocrites didn't even last a couple years.

When i was 23 i got rejected for tourist visa. It took me 10 years to get a tourist visa to the US. And those people can just enter, get housing and live there?! Why?!

I’m a New Yorker that moved to Texas from NYC. I say keep sending them. Actually, “sanctuary cities” should take ALL illegal immigrants as that’s what they advocate.

The irony of the NYC mayor finally suggesting illegal immigrants cant enter only when they're right outside his city is completely laughable.

Mayor Adams was doing the exact same thing when he sent the illegal migrants ( asylum seekers ) north on a bus to Canada 🇨🇦 to Montréal. Mayor Adams gave the illegal migrants another alternative destination than NYC, and that was Canada. Mayor Adams even offered to pay for their bus fare to Canada at the expense of the New Yorkers taxpayers' money, of course.

15 year paramedic & ER tech here and I can tell you _exactly_ what that NY law about "not sending needy persons" into the city is all about. Many cities, NYC included, have an open secret of shipping homeless (or the politically correct "needy persons") all across the country. Talk to any homeless person who's been on the street long enough and they will probably tell you they've been part of this or were at least offered to be sent another city. I've personally chatted with dozens of homeless who told me about travelling from one city to another, all "shipped around" on the dime of the city they just left. Someone might spend a few months on the west coast, then somewhere in the south and then in the summer be bussed back to the northeast. Rinse, repeat. So what Adam's is doing is taking a law that was designed to stop this from happening and _never_ written with illegal migrants in mind and twisting it into some new, novel quasi-legal application that benefits his own political agenda (weird how this seems to keep happening lately 🤔).

I wonder how many voters had the “No human is illegal sign” displayed somewhere on their property. Blame the federal government and who you likely voted for.

I saw a video of Abbott making a great point. Since Biden is letting them in “legally”, they have the right to travel freely. That lawsuit will be a waste of taxpayer money just like everything else involving the immigrants.

What? How can you sue someone for doing exactly what you asked for? You asked for this. You voted for this so now you get what you asked for. Texas should’ve done it sooner. Keep sending them.

Governor Abbott should counter sue NYC. Asylum seekers were invited to NYC. Now the mayor is closing the door on them.

So Texas should foot the bill? We have enough of our own! After all NYC is a sanctuary city.

It’s amazing how fast nyc can mobilize to protect its borders while they vote against a competent federal government that should be doing this.

Here in Phoenix, a guy who works in an industrial type area tells me that every morning at least one bus pulls up in front of the place he works and drops off a whole load of migrants. He says they have blankets and pillows and everything. They stand there for a bit, then a line of black suvs with government plates pulls up and picks them all up and drives them away. No one from the migrants, to the bus drivers, to the suv drivers will say one word to them when they try and ask what's going on, and why is it going on in front of an obscure factory in an industrial area, away from the view of most people. There is a load of shady activity going on behind the scenes in the border states pertaining to the "asylum seekers" and the government is quite involved in all of it.

Apparently people don’t realize how famous New York is around the world… When you ask foreigners about the US, 9 times out of 10 they will mention New York… So of course they want to go to the famous New York.

That's why the lawsuit will fail. They don't force them on the buses in Texas. They offer them a free ticket if they want to go. There are also plenty of immigrants who HAVEN'T left Texas. As for other charges, NYC is just grasping at straws. They let their city's infrastructure go to shit, let the prices skyrocket, pushed a certain agenda...and are now paying the price. Asylum seekers are required by law to apply for asylum from the first safe country they come to and are NOT to be paroled into the US before applying.

Wouldn't it be better to just repeal the right to shelter? Clearly never much help for American citizens so...Am I crazy?

I live in another country but I must say I find it strange how anyone can blame Texas for this! How long are they expected to deal with the inflow.

I heard an illegal immigrant say in an interview that he gets a $2000 prepaid debit card and a cell phone when crossing. He goes back into Mexico and crosses again 3-4 times a week and gets the debit card each time. Infuriating. Imagine if true, how many are doing this.
