Speechless 😮 beyond belief... All superlatives fail to be describing this fantastic work by the " Master " himself... Mr. Gustave.. Beautiful beyond belief... Absolutely!!!... George
I love that you numbered it to no. 5344. If any NYC Hudson were to be choosed for preservation irl, 5344 would be a good candidate, as he's the most famous of all the Hudsons as it was the basis for Lionel's very 1st full scale model train in 1934, and its also famous for having the Commodore Vanderbilt Streamline Shrouding. 5344's headlight was saved however and is owned by a private owner.
The New York Central Hudson is back. The #6914 delivers the coaches. The Hudson reemerges from the shops as New York Central #5344. #5344 and NS #1066 pull an excursion to celebrate its return. Welcome back New York Central #5344. It has a nice paint job and whistle. From being stuck in mud to returning to steam, New York Central #5344 is back.
I really like how you do these restorations. Im going to get the software/game you said you use and do my own version of this. Ive recently watched the Baldwin Centipede videos and am hoping the game allows for other customization, like the land around the workshop to build something like a full Roundhouse to store these locomotives after restoration, because i would also like to (on top of these Hudsons) do a Big Boy, Challenger, SP Cab-Forward, a couple different Camelback type steam locomotive (such as a Erie 0-8-8-0 and a 2-8-0) a UP DDA40X and the different version of their Turbine locomotives. I would also like to do a NH EP-5, Baldwin Centipede and Sharknose, and also some Alco Century 628 in a LV "Snowbird," and also some Fairbanks Morrison locomotives.
The New York Central Railroad would've preserved few of their retired 4-6-4 Hudsons of having them donated to museums. It then would've in the future being planned by rail enthusiasts to restore one of the 4-6-4 Hudsons to operation.
Quick! Protect that Hudson (for that matter any New York Central steam locomotive you have), because the ghost of a certain NYC head honcho might rise up from the grave, grab a chainsaw, and cry out in an unearthly voice, red eyes flashing... "GIVE ME THAT STEAM LOCOMOTIVE, FOR I WILL OBLITERATE IT!"
@@GUSTAVTIME Could you tell me where you found your new york central trains, I dream of playing with the Empire State Express. I was playing with under MSTS
