As soon as you've exhausted your other remedies, namely voting for somebody that's not a democrat. Why do you think Republicans are fighting with Biden over the debt ceiling?? Because when you're not allowed to spend gobs of taxpayer money on anything and everything, you are forced to cut out the wasteful stuff. It's a win-win, but Democrats absolutely refuse to cut any spending, they only want to take it from one area (like police) and spend it on something else (like consultants and reparations). Before SNAP there were food stamps, before food stamps there were commodities. We need to go back to commodities. Basic food. It has been over a month, since I have been able to afford purchasing meat at the grocery store. I shop according to what is on sale. It is extremely unsettling as a taxpayer to be unable to spend freely at the grocery store, while being insulted by my government providing generous SNAP payments to illegals. I have paid into the tax system for decades, what have the freeloading illegals paid for?? Need a reset on this government.

Biden and the Dems continue letting them in, and refuse to secure the border, and eventually our country will collapse and become a 3rd world country like the countries these people are coming from. You're right it's a good solution. If they get a job and stay out of trouble for a year or two then allow them to leave the island but only if they have a place to live before leaving and a job. They might figure I'll tow the line until I leave then I'll quit work and be a freeloader. Have them monitored for work and crime. If they violate either and it's their fault send em packing. Their should also be a law that says they can't apply or get approved for govt assistance until they've been a U. S. resident with no criminal activity and have regular work for at least 3 years.

This has been available for a long time. I honestly believe that our government has been doing a humanitarian experiment. It's as bad as Nazi Germany did. The thing that's made it different is the fact that it's been all over our nation and in our streets. There's no reason why our government wouldn't have warehouses filled with things like this in cases of different emergencies. This could give relief for hurricane and tornado. It would even help those that lose their homes to wildfire. If the White House things they have enough money to send it around the world and they need to be doing it here at home. It's time we see things like that's being put up to help our own citizens who are living. They have to stop the experiment on our own humans citizens with the drugs and watching the middle health breakdown because of it all. It's time for our government to truly care about our citizens and those who enter our country and help.

They want to do background checks. I would think a lot of homeless have problems. Either drugs, mental issues, and animals, that make these people choose not to go to shelters. You cannot help someone that does not want to help themselves. I feel housing them first is where I would start to help them.
