Most overpopulated, highly dense cities have vermin issues, except maybe Tokyo due to the culture of the people. China is probably another story. The opposite, the mayor is known for not liking rats and decided to not let people put out their trash at 4 pm but now 8 pm. But now that the migrants are here, causing more rat problems by going through the trash and leaving contents on the streets, it appears to some that the mayor has backtracked on his efforts to lessen the rat population by not being tougher on these migtant practices. Long story short: mayor was tough on rat eradication until the migrants got here.

If you were Mayor, what would you do, that’s not illegal based on Federal law. You need to place a call to Biden’s vanilla factory. If he left Trump’s executive orders in place and didn’t give migrant “temporary protected status”, this wouldn’t be happening.

Poor New Yorkers - probably the worse place to live in the USA. Texas is the best state in the USA. Florida and Arizona are not far behind. Hawaii if you have a lot of money. Note Republican for the most part and great weather.

Actually separating those bottles out is a good way to recycle. Maybe the trucks could pick up the bags and wherever the garbage drop off is… then let people separate the bottles from the garbage. Maybe it’s just not practical! But picking it up before the rats get it is a good idea. I agree with the mayor on that idea.
