This is the second episode of my moving in NYC series! Moving day is finally here. We move all by ourselves, without movers, over the course of two days. Oh wow! The new place looks fantastic. You guys did amazingly well moving your stuff by yourselves, never mind you doing music lessons and dog walks! So happy for you. The new place is great! The wall of windows in your old place was pretty awesome, but you have an extra room now! Have you thought about putting the couch on the other wall because it’s too long, or are all of the cable plugs on the wall with the TV? I think it will all come together- and you guys have so much done already!

Is this apt. bigger than your old one? It seems smaller in some ways. What is your view from the windows? I love your new dresser, the color is gorgeous. Loved seeing Maggie and it sounds like Rory is rearranging things to suit her. LOL. Congrats, your almost moved over, now you can make it yours.

The bedroom and living room are slightly smaller than at the other place, but the extra bedroom ends up making it a bit larger overall. I’m taking the move as an opportunity to not stop showing out the windows in as much detail for my safety and privacy, but it’s a similar view. 😊

I definitely do! Hard to beat those windows. The windows here are big too though, and I’m loving having a balcony. 😊

Congratulations on winning the housing lottery! I live in a fairly rural community and we don’t have such a thing here. I’m not trying to be rude, just curious; does this mean you are saving a lot of money on rent now? Thanks for sharing you moving journey with us! Hi Hannah👋 Your new apartment looks great , and in no time at all, you will figure out how best the flow of the kitchen and other rooms will work for you and Ross. No, it’s slightly larger overall. The living room is smaller than the old living room though.

I like this new apartment. It kinda has that familiar combo of your longtime space and the original space you had during COVID (when we were introduced to you). Rory defintely a little more relaxed vs. the move to the longtime space. She definitely looks happy.

Wow, the new place is much more spacious. You gonna miss your old apartment. The good thing is you still can see it all the time. 9:51 After checking out the apartment, Rory walked back to you. He was like, are you sure this is our home? very cute 🥰.
