I know, the Bible tells us not to celebrate the death of our enemies, but when I realize it was the death of a man who has caused so much pain and death, I can't help but feel that justice has been done
It made me happy that the entire world rejoiced and sent their prayers to those who were lost and the families who lost them. Those things really warm my heart. Like was like we were all One big family the way I see it.
Respect and love from Canada ❤ No matter how many years pass; this moment brings tears to my eyes. You, as a Country banned together and brought down one of the most evil beings to walk the earth. May those who lost their lives rest in peace, and to those who lost family members, friends etc. You will forever be in my prayers. ❤🇨🇦❤🇺🇸❤
I remember I was in my eighth grade history class (my last class of the day) and my teacher was watching the news so he didn’t teach class that day. We just watched it and when it was over he taught for like the last ten mins of class. I forget if he gave us homework but I’ll never forget that day
FOR10 LONG YEARS WE HAVE WAITED FOR THIS MOMENT! I DON'T CARE WHAT THE REST OF THE WORLD THINKS, BUT WE AMERICANS HAVE THE RIGHT TO CELEBRATE THIS MOMENT AND WE WILL!!! USA USA USA USA
Michael Carroll,.the dude in this video whose dad.the NYC firefighter who passed on 9/11, I remember reading an article about him in Sports Illustrated a little while after the attacks. His dad was a Mets fan and they attended the Mets Yankees game when Roger Clemens hit Mike Piazza in the head with a pitch. So he got to meet Piazza and spend some time with him. A great article.
I remember I had chickenpox, I think I was 9. I woke up and turned on the news and saw that. I used to play a lot of Call Of Duty at the time, so I kinda understood what was happening and felt some form of joy.
I remember asking my roomate to pause her channel flipping because it looked like it was important, and the profound sense of relief that washed over me when I heard President Obama announce the death of Bin Laden. The biggest international manhunt was finally over. Unfortunate it took us nearly another decade to get out of Afghanistan.
"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that" -Martin Luther King, Jr
Debate Brother 1 here, I remember that night, I stayed up all night just to here if Osama had been killed. I rejoiced at the news that his evil plans had been stopped.
A great time for justice to be served. That sick fuck had it coming for 10 years and we finally got him. They should've, but the media tried to making it seem as if he was responsible for starting World war 3. Im not a trump supporter, im black lmao, but i still recognized that shit, and it pissed me off
@Cartyy its sad that people still confuse iraq and afganistan which have no relation to each other ... + in iraq us-troops killed over 1,2 million civilists
@mermaid30019 yea since Islamic tradition said if a person dies at sea and it is not possible to bring the body back to land before decay, burial at sea is allowed. A weight is tied to the feet of the body, and the body is lowered into the water. This would preferably occur in an area where the remains are not immediately eaten by scavengers, why didn't they bury him in the middle of the desert in an unmarked grave because Abbottabad is long long away from the sea
We were pushing the Japanese back island to island. We used the atom bomb because we had the technology and expertise to do so. That's what happens when your civilization is developed and skilled.
What me to show you the pitchers in drawing of your God all and also your pedophile profit muhamid or however you spell it. They both getting fuck in the ass and begging for more.
@NeoKiryu You sound like one of those people who would say murders & rapists have rights. If you want to feel sorrow for the guy responsible for all those killed on 9/11, then YOU are the one who is inhumane.
correct, europe have done worse things than america, i have just as little respec for their nations as i do the usa, i think your a little confused about who the us is allied with, certainly not russia,
@WupeViasco But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also....contradictory isn't it?
@SuggaBloopers it was a "targeted assault" on a compound they believed he was hiding, I also believe it was the NAVY seals that did this, he was believed to have been killed in a firefight, so he was probably shot.
Obama: "let me say to the people who lost loved ones on 9/11, we have never forgotten your loss..." true but, why the fuck did the government not re-investigate 9/11 when those families of loved ones asked for it? sorry to be all sad and all, it's a happy day for many people, but seriously? the whole thing is a bit suspicious! Osama was immediatly buried at sea, no one's seen him for years, no one's shown his body, he was found living just "a stone throw away from a pakistani military base"
@MatrixFactoryGuy they buried his body so fast because of his religion. It was also a way to settle many citizens seeing as they wanted his body to be buried in a ceremonial fashion in which the navy seals carried out. Besides what would they have gained from telling this huge lie? Support or something like that is not needed. So stop with this cover up stuff your comment is very thought out but you did not take into factor his religion.
