7:40/ Now there's a sight to behold! Old school US Steel elevated subway line operating since 1920! And can still withstand all those heavy subway cars occupying the same area at the same time! Reminds me of the peak express hours from the Whitlock Avenue Station. To see trains passing each other on all 3 tracks simultaneously? On a curve built like a roller coaster, no less?! I remember when riding the trains were more safer, but after Covid-19, people have lost it…mostly the homeless folks who couldn’t fend for themselves bc they couldn’t take care of theirselves, now they use the train stations as a mean of shelter so they don’t freeze to death or get wet from the rain.

They should keep R142A and have only a bit of R62A because I’m not really a fan of R62A I’m more of a R142A parson

No door indicator lights on the 62's? In the 70's a car would be locked down and out of service (Sometimes the whole train) if the indicator light didn't function.

I like the R62A its still cool to see them on the 6 but I still like the R142A 6 trains better and thats my childhood i have so many fun memores expecialy the car 7600 I would always run in to that car every time i got on a R142A 6 there it goes 7600 and it was the last set of cars to remain on 6 line service until may 22 2018 the last set remaining on the 6 that was R142A type was sent to the 4 line but i think it got scraped for more cars that are R188 cars for the 7 line hope to see R188 and maybe some R142A from the 4 because jerome does not take care of its R142A cars on the 6 in the future along with the new R262A cars and hope to see R62A back on the 7 as well
