Hey! I don’t remember exactly but I believe that housing was extra and was to be booked after you applied for your course. You had to be quick though as it’s a first come first serve situation. But almost everyone I met there stayed in the dorms, also because most of the students were international, only those who actually lived in nyc didn’t stay in the dorms. Hope that helped :)

Hey! I think you should definitely do it! Sadly none of the close friends I made there were in the photography program so I don’t know that much about it but I looked at all the work they have done over the three weeks on studio day. Everything was absolutely amazing and looked so good, they even had a video installation. I think you would definitely benefit from the program :)

Hey, no I definitely don’t think so! It’s definitely not bad if you have a bit of practice but a lot of people start at the same level so there is nothing to worry about. Of course there are always some people who are more experienced but it also definitely depends on the course you take :)

Hey!! A few weeks before the program started I received an email from Parsons with the email addresses from my roommates (for the duration of the program everyone gets their own parsons email adress) from which we then exchanged our social media handles and got into contact :)
