Family and friends are speaking out after a woman's body was found stuffed in a sleeping bag on a New York City street. CBS New York's Alice Gainer reports.

Update. The family saw him in the area, held him down and called the police. During the arrest,a mob tried to beat him up. Her mother was on scene. It so sad. Check RU-vid for the video.

Put the sleeping bag on the ground and roll her body onto it? I'm pretty sure you wouldn't need to stand for that. They have him on video moving the body to that location but you're telling me rolling her two feet onto a sleeping bag is beyond understanding?
Somebody knows something, where are all the cameras and videos. Who is this person in a wheelchair, how is he needing a wheelchair to get around, but was pushing her body in it? Hopefully he will be found.

It's common sense; she must have known the person, perhaps an ex-boyfriend or someone she was seeing. It's obvious that the incident occurred in the apartment for him to have placed her in a sleeping bag. It seems her family didn't know much about her life, or perhaps she was private. No one would meet such a fate unless the victim knew the person they were dealing with.
@@jasoncarr5379i live in brooklyn in a mostly black neighborhood. there’s a funeral home a few blocks from my apt and when i walk by and see people grieving, it looks like grief. i agree the family in this video comes across like they’re acting on a reality show or something, but that is definitely not a “new york thing”

Her little beautiful sister's comment broke me down, I can't stop crying. Why would some monster hurt such a pretty woman. I hope the police find her killer and bring them to justice. May God help her family wrap them in his loving arms and comfort them with peace of heart.😢

That is terrible, to be left on a curb. Thing is, she was studying criminality. Yet, to be a victim herself. Blessings to her soul and my God give comfort to her family.
The mother seems a bit too chill and relaxed and the friends come off as fake. There's a lot not being said here. No missing person's report and she was killed, wrapped up and disposed off by an old man in a wheelchair? Huh?

No one cared about her and it's clear all the people close to her who are pretending she was their angel are lying. I find it odd that she could be homeless in the same area she was from and NO ONE took her in other than some wheelchair bound criminal degenerate. Now all these people who saw her struggling are singing her praises all over TV. Shows how fake people can be.
@@Leroy-tj9jg You need to catch up on the story. We were all right about doubting the mother. The story is the mother threw her into the street and she was homeless. While living on the street she met the wheelchair guy and starting dating him so he would take her in and have a place to stay. She then went to school, graduated, was making moves to move out on her own and wheelchair guy got mad jealous and killed her. The mother stepped over her own homeless daughter everyday on the street and knew the wheelchair guy was abusive and possessive. The friends also refused to take her in and left her on the street. That's why they all sound so fake.

this may sound cruel you can’t help everybody if you’re not a professional. Don’t be so kind to these people you don’t know what make them tick. I’m talking about people who have mental health issues serious mental health. They’re not living on the street for no reason as if it’s normal. It’s not like you’re dealing with a stray animal.

Whatever happens, I want justice for this young lady, first and foremost and no matter what. But I also got to wonder what did she get into? Maybe she's totally innocent but sometimes people will talk about their dead relative or friends and I understand. Yet, they're deceased one was dabbling in something dark unbeknownst to them.
