The farther you go up the ladder in this country the worse the corruption gets. They fill the prisons with poor people of lesser offenses to make it look like they are putting all of the CRIMINALS in jail. They need to "Start at the top, and work their way Down!" County Sheriffs and City Cops can take care of putting poor people in jail (they do it all the time). Let the FBI, State Police and State Prosecutors go after the Big Guys. And if they don't Prosecute or they keep letting them go then the focus of the investigations shifts to the FBI and State Government. But if the guys running our Country are corrupt, who oversees them?

Most of them did the work and were told by the super that if they didnt pay them, they wouldnt approve full payment. Most of the contractors had nothing to do with it. You can read the indictments on the doj website

That isn't the worst of it. What about the city inspectors that go over the credibility of all electrical and structural inspections. Of NYCHA buildings and restaurants, businesses, to pass inspections. Did you ever follow up and see some of the homes that these inspectors own? How do you think they got them? And those cars aside for the ones the city and the taxpayer pays for them to travel to their building inspections.

You can lump a lot of insurance adjusters in that group too. There are many more than the 70 you caught here. As the holder of the policy, you have the choice to use any company you want to do your work. In most cases when your adjuster writes up his findings and says "our guys can start asap to get you damage repaired" is a tell that there's going to be a kickback to the adjuster. If you know an adjuster, drive by and see how they are living. You will be surprised. I'm a retired remodeling contractor of 35 years.

They wonder why the quality of workers has dissipated over these years. This is just NY, it goes on all over the country. "Skilled labor is not Cheap and Cheap labor is not skilled." When a company has to have a meeting due to the quality of work they service, not hard to figure what the problem is.
Many property managers in NYC engage in unethical practices. They only work with contractors who pay them kickbacks, and they blacklist those who don't. This makes it very hard for honest companies to survive in the market. I have experienced this myself. I have had checks delayed, proposals ignored, and contracts terminated for not giving in to the extortion. I think the authorities should crack down on these management companies and hold them accountable. That's why I decided to educate building boards and owners on how to prevent property managers from taking advantage of them.

When I saw a cash Jordan video about this housing crisis and how some people were on a waiting list for 8 years it made me think of two things. First of all obviously they have survived for the last 8 years so maybe they don't need to be on a list, but if somebody is on a list for that long that is clearly corruption. This is all of the housing industry in some form or another. I worked for the largest non profit housing company in the country and when I raised questions they got mad. They get massive kickbacks on millions of dollar's in projects. I have seen it with my own eyes.
