Hi Chetali! I came across your do-it-yourself eye cream video three years ago. I was an insecure teenager going through puberty, terribly dissatisfied with myself at that time. I didn't have any skincare products and did not want to appear vain by asking my parents to buy me some. I felt as though it was shallow of me to want to look beautiful or take time and effort to groom myself. I started following you after that and it really inspired me to see how confident and poised you were. It dawned upon me that beauty is an asset like any other, and wanting to maintain and improve on it is also very valid. I followed your advice and have much better skin to show for it. Hi Chetali , To begin with I fell for the no nonsense, straight classy talk of yours. No "soothing" music at the background, no trying to put out there so hard. Just straight to the topic and HOW!! . I started following you couple of years back when I saw a video on winter skin care. I guess 3 years back. I was hitting 35 and my skin was transforming from oily to dry patches. I suffered from acne breakouts and was looking for a solution on RU-vid(as usual) and I stumbled upon your videos. Being a non Hindi person, I didn't find that many videos online who cater to people like me and then I found you. Love all your recommendations, started using acids on my face because of you and now I and look and feel great. Another main reason is the way you speak.OMG. I clearly remember that I was searching for moisturizers option as I have oily acne prone skin so it's very difficult to find a suitable one, and there I was on youtube scrolling all the videos and I clicked yours , let me tell you it was the most educational skincare video that I had ever came across, I was mindblown the way you described each ingredient and what it does. Hai Chetali I found your channel around 3 years back when I was alien to skincare & makeup. I didn't know where to start. I started watching videos on RU-vid which confused me more than ever. It was really hard to find something on Indian skin/ combination skin/informative. That's when I stumbled upon your channel. The first video I watched was 'Affordable Makeup kit for beginners' in which you explained about a few drugstore make-up products. I still remember it as it is still there in my playlist and I had watched it many times. It was mesmerizing, the way you explain everything- what is the use of each and everything & the ingredients. Aapka Channel mujhe 2020 mei mila tha, around September.. So I still remember, my college campus recruitment was about to start, and I was in search of nude and affordable lipsticks.. I was continuously searching in youtube, and that's when I found your channel, where you reviewed Blue Heaven Candy Crush Non-Tranfer Matte Lip Color, which came in 12 shades then, and you swatched all of them. You also highlighted 3 lip colors, which were your favourite amongst the 12 shades. Raspberry Tart and Candy Floss were 2 of them. I mostly remember about these 2 shades because I bought these 2 shades with the hope that I would look as beautiful as you looked.. And after that for next 2 years I wore only those 2 shades, as I loved the color of those 2 lip colors.. While writing this I became a bit emotional, as it reminded me of those days. My first video that randomly came across my RU-vid feed was the one with moisturisers recommendation many years ago, when you soo profoundly recommended Clinique for oily skin.
