Speaking of 'evoking', the rhythm of this one immediately reminded me of the intro to 'Everything you want' by Vertical Horizons. Other than that they are in no way similar, but very compelling...thx!
Oh there we have a video finally! Thanks. I have today stumbled upon a hulk playing guitar tremolo very softly with use of pinky. And it sounds quite interesting. Have you every tried incorporating RH pinky into playing? Tremolo at least? Check out Andrey Trush 99. His song "Road" has a good display of mixed tremolos. Wonder what you think of it? I've read that Villa Lobos did use RH pinky aswell in some of his pieces.
I’ll check it out, i’ve never used the pinky except for rasgueo since it’s so weak… There is a guy named Robert Entwistle who was into using his pinky and wrote some instructional books. Decades ago I met a guitarist in Spain who used his pinky for tremolo as well - anything is possible!
@@TheVersatileGuitarist Thanks for reply. Oh cool didn't know about him. Yeah Im always wondering what are the limits hence it interested me. But I just made up my mind Im not gonna bother with the pinky thing. Im enjoying enough my recent progress with regular fingers lol. But its interesting to observe people getting it succesful and this guy I showed is very unique regarding body physique and skills so always fun to watch exceptions to the rule. Cheers.
LOL Those wooden pegs should have been outlawed years ago, do your self a big favor and get a set of planetary pegs, they look the same as the wooden pegs but are actually geared and work just like any high quality machine heads, thank me later.
@@TheVersatileGuitarist I had the same issue, I had a great hand made guitar with wooden pegs, and it took me a long time to admit to myself that I'm avoiding playing it because of those pegs, changed them and realized that the idea to go for the pegs was dumb as a wooden peg, anyway it's all good now LOL
