yea.. rarely people notice that cause we watch the performance through the camera.. it is camera gaze. as a drag performer in a bar, a good drag queen needs to take care of each side of the audience on the stage, sometimes, even the customers in the corner. I paid attention a bit on both queens' interaction with the audiences. Nymphia not just stayed at her side of the stage. she also run to Sapphira's side to perform. On the other hand, most of time, Sapphira just stayed at her side of the stage or in the middle. I am also touched that Nymphia even perform for those queens in the corner in the end. We hardly can notice this because we watch video through camera. there is a twitter i agree with a lot .. "Sapphira performs for the judges but Nymphia performs for the audience." So that is a big credit for Nymphia.
That's what I appreciate the most out of this- she treated it like a drag show- she put a ton of care into the reveal and she respected the entire audience- not just Ru and I think that's amazing tbh.
Ppl dont understand how nymphia was very pro and polite. When she had to cross over crystal she went behind not in front of her so she doesnt cut her off. That is class

Agreed lmao. Roscoe’s have an exclusivity clause in their contracts though, so I’m guessing a lot of queens refuse to sign it. If they’re travelling to Chicago, they would want the freedom to work at any gay bar/club in the city.

Nymphia won hands down the moment she revealed the balloons. She just caught everyone's attention at that moment and Sapphira struggled to recapture it (her first reveal was too early imo) at least until her wig reveal and the kicks but that point the song was almost over and Nymphia had already won.
Yeah Nymphia had the whole process stamped down. Emoting to the reveal to the dance movements. She had it all on lock and led the way for each one, making it look like Sapphira was catching up.
I am Team Sapphira, but Nymphia did amazing and these queens as the final two were amazing, and I just realized that after her handstand she literally ran to the other side of the stage to perform for her proud mother 😭 I didn’t notice it until I watched this video

Everytime other people say Sapphira win this lip sync, I was like "did we watch the same lip sync?" Is there something wrong with my eyes? Am I blind? No way Sapphira won this. I love Sapphira but Nymphia won this.

The end doesn’t matter because CoverGirl decides who they want. Idk how much power they have through out the season. I know for sure they pick the winner at the finale. I guess the judges would better see that mouth singing when you’re standing in one place most of the time so i agree with you. More movements less chance for Ru to see if youre singing it right but everybody knows the song anyway so itd be weird to assume Nymphia wasnt singing the entire time.
Just to play devil's advocate here, Sapphira auditioned for the show 11 times (which surely qualifies her as the most patient queen ever), had a near flawless season even as she acted as den mother to every other queen and seamstress for the "Queen of Flips," carried herself regally with some of the most eye-popping runways in herstory, was predicted as the winner by virtually every news and media outlet, and was left standing there by the queen who entered as a flasher with a banana pinned to her crotch. Yes, Nymphia's incredibly talented and her historic win reverberated all the way around the world. I'm not calling any of that into question and I am NOT saying she didn't deserve the crown. She did. But don't act shocked that not everybody understood Nymphia's win.
Yeah that’s probably why you can never really know the winner until the end. Like they say to Papables in every Papal Election: enter a Pope leave a Cardinal. Nymphia knows how to play the game and even Sapphira said this a few times on the show as well. They can root for who they want but they also need to see the other contestants instead of being stuck with the congeniality bias.
