NYMR Autumn Steam Gala 2023 - Day 1 (Caledonian Tank, 9F, 75069, Lucie, Double Headers and Freight) 

Excellent footage there Iain. Especially of 75069, she sounds nice

One thing this channel does very well (not that I'm saying it's the only thing, you understand) is matching sound recorded lineside with drone shots

Super video...loved the drone shots of our beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Oddly I was just going to have a look at the line from above before I clicked on this!

Day 1 was like a Glastonbury festival of steam. All the greatest hits through the day, and the Beatles headlining at the end!

Not just well filmed, but the audio is perfect too, great effort cheers!

Lovely record of Day 1. I especially like the shots of Eric at Green End - in 4k it looks superb.

Unfortunately had to miss the gala this year but the footage was brilliant. I absolutely loved the sight of the Caley tank double heading with the Standard 4 - where else could you see that! There were moments with the spaceships and 75069 when I thought I might be back on the S&D on a summer Saturday in the early 60’s - made my day. Thanks.

What's Lucie's water capacity? She can make it from Grosmont on one tank then 😅
