ikr I know right... a quality video...cool video....as said in the video...when your old you have problems...yet without having His forgiveness and friendship...you have serious problems. good
I remember watching this episode as if it were yesterday. Very emotional…for Andy and because I knew the absolute best television series then or now…was ending soon. Our Tuesday night friends were leaving and there was nothing we could do to stop it. It’s still all these years later the only series we’ve watched start to finish and never missed as episode.
I know benburra.... I felt the same way about Tuesdays after Sons of Anarchy ended. ...then Yellowstone....now what? NYPD Blue will always rank among the tops for a fact.
My Significant Other was 27 years My Senior but We had a 32 year relationship which ended when she died of Cancer at age 80. She had 3 daughters, (1 older than Me, 2 younger) and they all respected Our relationship. 14 years after her death and I still miss her every single day.
It's so good to see this show again. Thanks for posting it. I lived close to work in East Honolulu. I would go home for my hour lunch, eat, and watch an episode. Arguably the best police T.V. series ever.
God I love this fucking show. All these years, all the times I've watched, and I'm still getting goosebumps and I'm welling up. The acting, the music. Damn.
Where was this episode for 20 years. I've watched as many NYPD Blue episodes as I could ever find. Never saw this one. Honor and Respect. Important in a man's life. Andy portrayed humility and pride, guts, and determination.
in this show/series, and many others over the years, there have been thousands of actors in bit parts, and roles like the several women in this particular episode (for example)...... who are wonderful actors. and I always wonder about their lives and careers, if they could make a living from their craft, or what? this was a fantastic episode..... thanx for the upload!
TNT network used to re-run two episodes of this show every weekday. I think it was 3 and 4pm, back to back, monday thru friday. Ten episodes a week for many years, as I recall. This was right around the time TIVO first came out, the first DVR recorder. I remember coming home from work every day just before 5 and seeing that red light on, which meant it was still recording the 4pm episode. I'd wait a couple minutes, then plop down to watch the two episodes while eating dinner. I must have watched the entire run of the show 3 or 4 times this way during those years. The world has changed since then, my life has changed. But those were some very good years. I miss those years, and I miss this show. Thanks to whomever keeps posting these.
So many excellent episodes i.e when Lt Fancy took Andy to soul food restaurant , Bobby’s death , Andy Jrs. death, Andy’s recognition and acceptance of John as a human being , how he stood up for him and on and on and on just outstanding television .
I remember the initial showing of this episode on ABC. The last scene was terrific. Until the final episode where he's put in command of the squad, this scene brought Andy full-circle.
I cried when i first saw this episode back in the 90's. Sipowicz thought everyone had gone ahead only to find the full detective squad, uniformed officers and a 2-star saluting him in honor of his promotion. This was a great episode to post and, 30 years later, brings tears to my eyes again. Thank you!
I think the writers savored over the plot like a fine wine... These days, writers treat a plot like a shot of vodka... That's the difference between class and the claptrap on TV these days...
cool video....as said in the video...when your old you have problems...yet without having His forgiveness and friendship...you have serious problems. good video
Riveting, even to a young teener who could barely keep up with multiple storylines; yet watched regularly then, but doesn't remember when Andy made seargeant
The daughter, the judge, a fairly accurate depiction of a lack of respect for defendanrs' rights I'd say. Especially in the corruption that is New York.
Ahh the New York i remember and miss, espec. the shits if the East Village. Sad Giuliani came in and changed everything and Mr.Trump getting rid of all the Hot dog carts😢
ADA Munson actress Elizabeth Lackey is actually a famous Australian Actress. In other shows and photos she is a clone of American actress Katie Holmes.
