The NYPD routinely tells the public, “If You See Something, Say Something”.
But in this case, while Officer Jonathan Munoz saw something, and according to surveillance video and prosecutors…he said something else - that was anything but the truth.

Framing an innocent citizen while acting with the authority of a government agent should carry a mandatory 50 year sentence. Now that everyone has cameras, a cop is a lot less likely to file bogus charges if it could put him in a cage for the rest of his life. And after all, "if they just obey the law, they have nothing to worry about", right?!?!? They want "tough on crime"? Well then they won't mind "tough on corruption" either!!!

Science proves Gods existence and btw, you have free will. Should God intervene in everyones lives when something bad might happen every time? There would be no point of this reality then. God never gives someone something they can't handle . You're bummed because life isn't or hasn't been going good for you? And also, the disabled dont nor need you to feel sorry for them, most disabled people hate that and I've seen some dudes in bad shape. Yet, they was still happy. The devil keep those thoughts in you , bro. He can feel your desires, get in your head and manipulate your thoughts and feelings. If you don't believe in God, then i challenge you to prove me wrong, with science but remember, there's scientific laws that refute all fake theories and schools don't teach students factual science but rather fabricated lies.

+Todd Oetken These police are innocent until proven guilty. Its the entire basis of our justice system. They get put on administrative leave so they can't interfere in any investigations, and so if they are found to have committed a crime, will be taken off the streets already. But to force them to take unpaid leave would essentially be accusing them of being guilty until their innocence is proven. And that is just not okay.

+etherraichu Oddly they can steal your money, your car, your house and claim it's "drug assets" and you may never be found guilty of anything. If every person that is arrested is innocent, then they shouldn't be held in jail until such time they are actually found guilty, right? Making bail bonds wrong too. If and when the cop is found guilty of some crime, does this mean they owe us the "paid leave" wages/benefits they got? NOT paying them is the least we can do. If they are found innocent and reinstated to their position, then they could get some compensation...just like the rest of us citizens get....ZILCH!!!!

There was something largely different happening there. They didn't destroy his phone nor did they do anything other than what was routine to all that was involved. Someone probably scared the police officer to make a scary hoax or to find out why the cop was touching his girlfriend and things escaladed. The police officer didn't want to do anything but be part of the community, and some of the people would get angry if they didn't let the kids fight it out. Now it seems like it's just rebuttals over and over again.

That's exactly what I heard, and there were people who were teaching their kids to do the exact same thing that they did so that they wouldn't get caught up in the slave trade, the drug trade, or any other trade that could just pay normal people to get real people off the streets in a really awkward way. The police officer was just doing his job based upon previous experience, which could have saved people's lives if they really needed to talk to them but didn't want to look weak about their current or previous situation that they may not be able to remember a few moments later because of the situations used to hide it.

I am sure some PRICK cop(s) and PRICK detective(s) was responsible for this guy lock up..." *Shit, we can't find the real criminal who did this. Oh well, lets just pin the whole crime on this INNOCENT KID we picked up who was playing on the street and throw him in JAIL for NEXT 39 years. Then, we will go home to our family and kids and live happily ever after.* lol... Just Google for "Ryan Ferguson." Poor Ryan; he said he was headed home after finishing a term in college to visit his parents. Then, all of a sudden cops pull him over on the highway and take him to the police station for questioning ONLY to be thrown in JAIL for NEXT 10 YEARS. All for what? Because Ryan happened to be with a guy the night before who was found MURDERED the NEXT DAY in the parking lot of a restaurant or a bar... On TV, Ryan said When it comes to LAW ENFORCEMENT TRUTH HAS NOTHING TO DO with anything that they do but all about BUILDING A CASE AGAINST AN INDIVIDUAL whether he or she actually committed the crime or not...

The justice system goes to far reaches to understand the criminal's mind. But they ignore their own crimes against the people. And one very big crime against the countries people. See it's one thing when they have it coming. And the cop does the job hired for. But it's another when orders are giving from higher places. For example, do what they can to fill the monthly quota's as their captain makes them do or Commander over all the others. So top down. Now when they do as ordered to do, many of our citizens come out with Class C & D felonies. Which prohibit them from owning firearms. Now that might seem like safety issues and just for the weaker minded civilian. However when cases like this one here, come up, then that is a direct violation against the citizens rights which are provoked forever after that. Eliminating the person from owning & carrying that firearm forever in The united State's.. The down fall.. That's one person unable to HOLD THE OFFICIALS TO THEIR ROLES. = We the people for the people own these cops and the government that pay them. People who cannot own firearms cannot fight for their country on a legal ground.. Later can be charged with criminal activity if they lose that fight. Or as a Terrorist. Removing America from America is all they have been doing since I was born. Oct 69

You were indoctrinated into believing these people are law keepers. That the laws in place now are unquestionably righteous and that if the law is followed good things will happen. That these bullies are only punishing the guilty and that you should just let them do what they are doing because they're the good guys. You're indoctrinated into be loyal, obedient, docile, respectful, and accepting to these people time and time again as throughout history they have abused their authority, status, power, weapons, and resources to benefit someone or something other than the law. Police officers need to be held at a much higher responsibility. Simply getting fired isn't enough simply paying a fine and getting a bad name isn't enough. They know the laws and swore an oath to take their job. Violating this in anyway should be seen as treason against the community they serve. They should have automatic prison time or for whatever offense they were trying to charge an innocent person for they should have to then be charged by that sentence. If you put stricter punishments for these cops. You will see some of this go away. They should be in prison for their treason.

The whole point is the 3 Officers were the aggressors and the civilians did nothing more than start to video the 3 Officers. When they were attacked by the 3 Officers and arrested. To support the Arresting Officers illegal action, they lied on the Official Police Report to support the Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct Charge. 3 Officers of the Law lied to support there wrongful action of arresting an assaulting and basically kidnaping this young man and then lied on the Official Police Report to support there testimony in court which ultimately could have sent this wrongfully charged young man to jail with a life long record of being charged with the crime an conviction of Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct. This does not even begin to rationalize the jail time which might be assessed do to a unlawful conviction of the 2 charges an the monies this man would have to have paid for a Lawyer and any fines an court cost associated to a conviction. So I hope what I have stated to you, helps you to understand just how guilty the other 2 Officers actions were by them supporting the arresting Officers actions. FYI, what does "smh" mean?

+jim short Exactly! When a law enforcement officer witnesses a fellow officer committing a crime and/or lying on police reports (also a crime) and the officer who witnessed it fails to report it or enforce the law because it's "his buddy", I believe that's a crime as well. If a cop witnessed another cop robbing a bank and failed to do anything about it, could he be charged with something? I believe so.

***** What does "LEOs" stand for? As for each of the Officers onsite and were participants in the event. It is my understanding each Officer files his own Official Police Report. It is these reports the Officers collaborate each others stories.

Why didn't they all get arrested? If we assist in a crime we are responsible for it.

Convicted of 4 felonies and 3 misdemeanors and only gets 100 hours community service and 3 years conditional discharge. Such Is the NY justice system.

Rob, that's how great it is to work for the GOBERMINT, man... Just realize that this is just the tip of the iceberg. I am sure cops are into MORE SERIOUS ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES that you and I and the American People don't know about that their court system lets them off so easy for. lol....
