NYR Fan Reaction - Flyers 4 Rangers 1 

2 shots on goal in the 3rd period against a divisional rival coming in losing 8 straight & getting throttled their last game 9-3 to Montreal. Never easy being a Rangers fan & I’ve been a fan for 45 years.

It really is s special kind of pain being a Rangers fan. I dont have anything.

Damn it. Losing to Philly sucks. This is a bad time to go on a losing streak.

No fight tonight and now we are letting Carolina catch up to us. Trouba and miller need to be separated and we need to scratch gus and brodzinski and let rempe and jones play. I’ll put this game aside but this team needs to figure it out and figure it out quick cause if this continues and this team let these bad habits continue they really could lose out on first and be one and done.

How does a team this good play that bad? How??? TF did I just watch?

That was one of the worst performances I’ve seen from them this season.

Yeah that was the least exciting game I've seen us play in a while. That was not how we usually look in the 3rd period. We started off well, but when the Flyers scored it looked like we just gave up. We just didn't have enough fight, clearly the Flyers were the more desperate team. However, it makes a lot of sense why they looked more desperate. They are fighting for a playoff spot, while we are on the verge of clinching the presidents trophy. Maybe the mindset today was to go out there and try to win, but not risk ourselves getting injured in the process. Might explain why we didn't look as aggressive as usual, though we did dominate in puck possession in various parts of the game. We just struggled to actually challenge the goalie, and capitalize on our chances. Flyers knew how to make the most out of theirs. Either way I'm not really worried, depends on how we do in these last 2 games. Let's just forget about this one and have our revenge against the Isles on Saturday

What are they doing?They sleep walking! The worst game of the season! Not one guy play good not one guy no effort no heart get it out of our system and hopefully you can wake up in the playoffs. Today was a better vs the New York islanders but once again, we fell behind and had to come back and win the game in shootout in which they will be no shoot out in the playoffs

the ranger are trying very hard to play themselves out of home ice advantage right thru the playoffs. the loss to the islanders i can sort of understand but the loss to the lowly flyers is inexcusable. get your act together boys.

I asked my dad if we got beat or the rangers just didn’t show up. I’m not sure what to lean towards.

This team better wake up and fast. They are still somehow by the grace of the lord in first overall, but the last few games have been hot garbage. Why back into the playoffs when they can play like we know they're capable of. I want Trouba and Miller gone by any means possible this summer.

Trouba needs to sit period end of story I dont care thats he's captain and makes 8 mill a year he's going to cost this team big time that's problem number 1 problem number 2 gustafsson he too needs to sit so please lavy incert Jones back into the lineup along with rempe and problem number 3 rosolovic he has been a absolute disappointment he's done absolutely nothing since coming over if he doesn't start giving that line something this team is in big trouble Drury should of got duclair or even zucker I know he tried for guentzel but pittsburgh wanted to much Drury should of gave up the 1st round pick and whatever else to land vatrano now it's going to bite them big time cause this 1st line still does not a true winger I'm trying not to panic but after tonight's pathetic effort it's hard not to laviolette needs to make changes Miller and trouba need to be separated rempe needs to play and jones too I would play trouba on the third pair with jones but if it was up to me I would sit trouba but that's happening need a bounce back game Saturday.
