Isn't it just! I genuinely thought the two eyes would look so different when I started the tutorial, but they almost look identical! I love the Full Spectrum too, definitely one of the best palettes on the market in my opinion xxx
Holly you read my mind about the urban decay full spectrum being a dupe of the NYX brights palette seriously they are both very similar! I feel like the NYX palette has more matte shades so I love using both of the palettes together and what I also love about the NYX one is because its so small I can travel with it when I want my bright shades without carrying around the big full spectrum. I just love them too much best palettes I own 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I literally watched your yellow eye makeup tutorial yesterday and thought "oh my god, she just said the NYX is a dupe for the Urban Decay, that's so weird because my comparisons going up tomorrow, this is not coincidence." We've just on the same wave length, G! Hahaha, I'm in love with the matte shades too, I just cant decide which palette I love more!xxx
That is so lovely of you! Honestly, I was pretty scared when trying to mix the pink, purple and blue all at the corner because I didn't want it to just become a 'mushy colour' hahaha!!!
I just love you! You are so talented and are the most bubbly real person on RU-vid at the minute. I can't believe you don't have more subscribers yet! I'm thinking by this time next year you'll have a million for sureeee lass! 💖 xx
I got the Full Spectrum for my birthday recently and absolutely love it! Love coming up with many different looks with it. I use the Naked Smoky for everyday looks and the Full Spectrum for fun looks :) Love your tutorials too Holly!
It's amazing isn't it girl! There are honestly so many different looks that can be created with it. I haven't actually used the Naked Smoky in aaaaages, I definitely need to pull it out! Thank you darling, that means so much to me xxx
Absolutely love the Naked Smoky, one of my favourite palettes ever, I think! I was looking at the Nyx Brights also not too long ago to mix with the UD Full Spectrum, nice seeing how well it blends! Also, this video reminded me that I need to get a NYx Jumbo (Milk) so thank you. My daughter is 12 and she also said to tell you you're mega pretty and the look in this video is beautiful :)
I absolutely ADORE NYX, their products are amazing for the price, I don't ever do a colourful eye without the palette - I hope that you're still loving it xxx
You are so incredibly talented and beautiful... Absolutely breathtaking, I think I'm going to purchase the Nyx palette as well now, I already have the Urban Decay but I'm addicted to makeup xxx
Thank you so much, that's so, so kind of you! I'm so happy that I have both because I use them in conjunction with one another and the shades all go together perfectly! You'll love it!xxx
I am speechless! I really had to look hard to see the differences between your two eyes! Kinda makes me regret purchasing the UD palette! Thanks for the tutorial, though!
Since filming this video I find it really strange -- I still have both of these palettes but, I'll think of a look and although the colours in both are so similar, I'll still gravitate towards one of the palettes and only use that palette... Super weird! The UD is amazing, if I were to buy one or the other I'd actually go with the UD strangely enough... xxx
Thanks to you the other day I tried a full blue make up and you were right, it DOES look stunning with my red hair =O thanks for the advice, definitely gonna do it again !
Thank you so much darling! I'm actually wanting to upload some prom looks within the next few weeks, what colours are popular this year for dresses do you think?xxx
Well my dress is burgundy and a lot of my friends dresses are navy blue or black. It would be amazing if you could do a look for a purple/ burgundy dress xx
YES! I love the Nyx white eyeshadow base too, it especially helps my dry skin because I have eczema on my eyelids, if I didn't have it I don't think my eyeshadow would stay at all! I only discovered it when I stopped purchasing the Mac Paint pots and I wish I'd found it sooner. It's great isn't it!xxx
I love this look so much! I've got the full spectrum pallet so I might just have to try it! It looks so beautiful and you're tutorials are so helpful even I can follow them and I'm pretty useless at makeup 😂
It's a really easy look to create considering how many colours are used, I think it's because there's actually minimal blending involved because you're not constantly trying to gradient and soften it, the colours are just flowing together! So definitely let me know if you try it out! Thank you so much for watching, you're so lovely!xxx
The eyes look exactly the same oh my gosh I didn't realise they were done with different palettes until you said it in the intro. I thought you just created a look with the palette you thought was better!
Don't they just! It's absolute madness, I thought that the Urban Decay was going to turn out more pastel-y and shimmery and the NYX would be matte and vibrant, but there is barely any difference! I even went out with this and no one said a word!xxx
Thank you doll, I'm so obsessed with your videos at the moment! And how amazing are you with frequency of uploading!? I'm literally envious, I'd love to be able to upload as much as you are, so amazing!xxx
I left a comment on your last vid asking if you live in Cheshire cos your accent sounds so familiar! And I got my UD full spectrum palette for £23.50 when Debenhams had it on a 50% sale. Yesssssss!
Yes! I do live in Cheshire, I find it so amazing how people can tell where I'm from, from my accent! A lot of people say I have a mix though, probably because my parents are from opposite ends of Cheshire and I've picked up both of their accents! Oh wow, how lucky! Mine was the full 40 off pounds and from Paris when the exchange rate was awful! I didn't get through to the top 10 of the NYX competition unfortunately, but I'm so happy that I entered! It was an amazing experience!xxx
You sound like you're from Middlewich! I taught at the High School there in 2006, and when my girls went to Sir John Deanes, they had pals from Middlewich High...so you're probs going to tell me I'm completely wrong and you live in Alsager or Nantwich! I'm just outside Northwich in Weaverham. If you're in the area, let me know and I'll show you my mental makeup collection which is taking over my bedroom. And I'm 47!! My daughter gets inordinately jealous and barks, "YOUVE GOT TOO MUCH MAKEUP!!! Mummmeeeee, can I have your Vice Reloaded and your Violet Voss palettes pleeeeeease cos you love meeee." Suffice it to say, the answer's NO! Thanks for taking the time to reply. That is a lovely touch for a RU-vidr cos few of them can be bothered with their subbies xx
They did look the same on the eyes 😱 but for whatever reason I prefer the nyx one when you were doing the tutorial. Btw you have really nice eyes and that makeup was on point xoxo
(hi again!!!) Didn't they look so similar! Oh really? Did you like the way it applied more or the colours as they were put onto the lids? That's really interesting! Thank you so much, you're too lovely xxx
What's UD Thinking. ..you have to have a matt black and any pallet without red is rubbish as far as I am concerned. Of course I inky use cruelty free but even tho I live in London I have never run across Nyx im Boots. ..maybe I should go up West but you know what happens then...the prices go up the nearer to the West End you get lok. I have the Sleek Acid Pallet and Technic's I think it is called Electric eyes....do you have a particular favourite product to wear under brights? Like you see people using the Nyx jumbo pencil in Milk or Blackbean? I can't find Nyx here in Hackney so I have ordered the Skeek Primer pallet. ..I used to use LA Colours jumbo pencils (as far as I know al you get is in the point and it doesn't screw up. I also used the white one (Stopped because I don't know if they test on animals...Sheek, Technik, Stargazer are all cruelty free so I tend to stick with brands I know and because I was ab 'original' Goth I've been using those brands for years...Ok I may be obsessed with getting EVERY Kat von D cosmetic that exists including the limited editions I missed. This OCD thing began when I ordered the Alchemist pallet direct from Sephora...I want all the glimmer veils...everything! ! Love your eye makeup, I willl sub and thumbs up xx
Wow love this look! So tempted to sell my full spectrum palette and buy the NYX one...does anyone know how either of these compare to the Morphe 35B/35C palettes?
Thank you so much hun, I'm keeping both of mine as they're amazing in different ways! The full spectrum has shimmery colours which are always good for the lid, and the palette is in a format that the colours compliment each other! If you'd like, I could get my hands on the morphe palettes and produce a comparison video for you?xxx
I really love how you speak, I'm already subscribed and I hope that your channel grows a lot, you deserve it because your content is definitely high quality! thank you for the amazing review 🇧🇷
