This is definitely one of the best haka performances of all time. Amazing intensity and a great rendition. No one was doing it half hearted (which I have seen on occasion in the All Blacks haka) These guys literally looked ready for war.
Did you ever see their last game against Australia when it went 5 minutes in to penalty time and the game ended when Australia scored the final try. That was such a rip off because the maori were winning at full time.
Great video! Even though I know nothing about this sport, I find it very entertaining to watch. And the Haka performance in the beginning gave me goos bumps! Great athletes with the most epic culture!
Yeeaahh I was there at the game behind the post where Hodgson kicked towards. Had to watch Hosea's first try on the screen but the atmosphere was massive. Awesome my Maori made me proud as hell.
@imsoawesome95 Yup the haka was awsome, but to say you smashed the english is a bit of an overstatement! It was a damn good game. I am English and I was glad to see that we are starting to score tries now! Hopefully we can bring more to the RWC in 2011 and remain one of the more successful teams in the history of the tournament.
I love this song/haka Timatanga because its not about the killing of the enemies but about their roots, about stay strong and being firm, together to "keep on climbing by the path of wisdom, to achieve excellence.." but gosh what a great game ! England was good but im glad the Maori got it together in the end :P
For people saying oh this side was weakened by this or wat ever, this is basically a match between both countrys 2XV's, was a sick match, haka was sick and well done nz maori, hosea gear should be going to the world cup for sure!
hosea, sonny bill, toeava on the other wing.. 2011 all blacks gonna kick ass for sure.. 2010 all blacks is the best team I seen in a long time.. toooo strong

just imagine if all the maori's were available to play for the NZ maori. Add Carter, dagg, Jane, Kahui, guildford, Weepu, Cruden,demelmanche, boric, eaton and waldrum. they would destroy a full strength english team. That would be so awesome to see guys like Dagg, Jane, Kahui, guilldford and carter given a licence to run from anywhere, even from their own 22. Hosea would of scored more tries with those players inside him.
youre wrong this is a modern composition of a haka written specially for the nz maori team just like kapo o pango is for the all blacks.Not all haka are traditional iwi ones as they do not represnt the whole nation
People can say what they want, they can say that this may be dumb but I think that it sure threatens you if you see people beeing such a unit together. You can say its something like the japanese in WW2 shouting "tenoheika banzai" to threaten their enemy . But this is much more organised.
