I was about in my thirties, a young mum, surrounded by young children and nappies, when these vibrant men jumped Into our lounge and on our TV. How I looked forward to their show. Their cooking was really of no interest to me....I just loved their banter....their love for each other was so electric. I am now in my 70's. I will always, thank these men dearly, for nudging our society (and myself) into accept all people.
Yes agree...I came over from Aussie in the 60's & just loved their show.Graham Kerr was on around the same time I think? The rubbish we get now has so little interest and because of the PC nonsense now there is nothing spontaneous any more! Wish they could put together a movie of all H&H shows....would love it!
@@heatheramos9361 Hi Heather..I recall Graham Kerr's cooking shows as well. He introduced us, the TV viewers, to not be afraid to use copious amounts of garlic in cooking. It may be of some interest to you that Joanne Drayton..Author and Academic has recently won the NZ, 2019, General Non-fiction, Ockham Book Award for her work, entitled "Hudson & Halls, The Food Of Love"
